WOW that's beautiful so creative...and an awesome idea. Outdoor rugs are so expensive, I am definitely going to go this one. Lots of license prayers from Jen in Bakersfield CA
I love this! I have so much drop cloth that was given to me. I didn't know what to do with it. I will be trying this for my back patio and front porch. Also my daughter wants you to know that you look like Elsa lol.
I actually gifted this to my sister.. but here's what she said: She wouldn't was it in a washer.. but maybe outside with a broom, soap, and hose, and hang to dry.
LOVE this!!! I really want a black and white striped outdoor rug, however they are not easy to find in the correct size and when I do they are way out of my budget. I have been contemplating using a drop cloth. I use one in my tent when we go camping and its great! Than you for your video and inspiration! So creative and turned out beautiful!! :) Did you spray a water and stain repellent on it? Did you add anything to keep the rug on place so no one slips on it? Thank you Janel!! :)
sherri drum so glad I could help inspire you! I didn't spray it with anything... but I would suggest it. My sister told me a few mild spots developed because it was outside..so a water repellant spray would help I think! And the table was very heavy and held it in place. My sister made a matching runner for her deck stairs and just stapled it to the steps!
This is perfect for my backyard
Looks great on your patio
I WISH I had that patio...but it's my sisters place haha :)

Serinity Jackson awww tell her thank you! What a compliment!! ❤️ hope your projects go well!
Gorgeous and fun! What was the total cost of the project?
Thanks! The paint was about $20 and the drop cloth around $30 I think. It was very large.. so a little expensive.. but smaller ones are cheaper!
☺
Great idea love this
Is there something to put underneath it to weigh it down besides washers?
Truther Revolution I’m not sure I understand...? To weigh the rug down? We put the table and chairs on top.. which keeps it in place
Beautiful!!!! Thanks for sharing this great technique 😊
I love you and your ideas ❤️
Thank you!! If you ever have any--shoot them my way :)
Are you able to wash this at the end of the summer season? Or does it not do well in the washer. :)
