I am sooooo happy to have found this. I went to a sewing class many years ago but I have forgotten how to draft a pattern for a bodice. I noticed one slight difference though. Our instructor said we had to add 1/4-1/2 inch below point F but only for the front pattern, the reason being that children’s tummies tend to stick out a bit. Thanks for sharing your skill!
Thank you so much for your clear instructions. Now I know how to take measurements correctly. My little grand daughter is four. Little ones don’t keep still to measure. So I used your values and made a dress for her. Many thanks and much love. 🙏❤️👌Malini
Bravo ,you made drafting easier for me...I follow your tutorial and I did it ... I am beginner in sewing and I just wanna say thank you, you're a big help 💕
Oh my gosh, I am so happy. This is the closest I have come to understanding how to draft a bodice. I thank you so much for making this very understandable. Now I will have to take some time to write out the instructions and how to execute each step. Again thank you so much for making this understandable.
Beautiful work. I have one question. Because toddlers tend to have baby fat on their stomach, what should be done when the front length is 11 inches (to accommodate tummy); but the back length is only 8 1/2 inches?
great explanation from the very start of how to measure and how to draw it on the paper with pictures that is what i needed as a beginner thank you very much
Once I saw your first minutes I decided to subscribe on your channel ...your fabulous, i love the way you explain by writing the details and steps and giving us pictures to understand. Thank you

Thank you so much 🎉🎉🎉may God bless you I don't know how many I've watched but this one was the best❤I don't know how to thank u but my problem now is that I'm making a dress going down how to cut it without joining it at the hip
Very nice and clear explanation. Wow.. Is this pattern for sleeves ir sleeveless?? Can i do it for both ?? For the this bodice pattern can u share how to cut the sleeves?
Just checking. This is without seam allowance? Also, what can we use if no french curve? This is the best video. Im going to subscribe and save. Thank you.
Thank you so much, much needed explanation, and a bonus in English too. Please clarify, A to B and A to C, is common and the same for all children’ s . Thanks.

thank you for this video. where did the 3.5"(point C) measurement come from? Thanks.
I wld like to knw that too, that was d only thing I didn't understand
So you have to leave 3.5 in from shoulder to measure chest width B and this is where the 3.5 plays its role.
You are a blessing for sharing this pattern. Millions thanks to you❤️ G-d bless!!!!
Question from A to C where’s that measurement coming from?
Thank you for great video. Was wondering besides taking exact measurements do we need to add extra for ease? Thank you
Excellent teaching! thank you for making this so simple. I am 62 yrs. old and you have given me a precious gift, " possibilities."
This is so great! Thank you. To cut the pattern from cloth, I assume that I add seam allowance to all dimension?

@@veenapurohit9809 Joann Fabric. Michaels. Some Walmart Supermarkets. Amazon.
Sorry to ask i really don’t Understand the A to C
@suseelaramakrishnan6474 A to C is for the line for shoulder slope. That is why it was extended outward.

Can you share which French curve and hip curve to purchase from amazon? Too many options and variations to choose from it’s confusing
Just one question, what is A-C measurement how are you calculating
How did you take the measurement as 2.5" for A-F and A-2, 2.5" for A-1? Please explain. How is the measurement of neck transferred on pattern?
Size of neck divided by 4
2.5 is the neck standard size for children..
