Born raised and have lived in loganville my entire life. It used to be nice until everyone started moving here and now it’s turning into hell.

Yes, I can imagine it's tough to adapt to the growing population when comparing to when we grew up. Same could be said for metro Atlanta suburbs in general as people continue to move here as they find the area to be very attractive for jobs, shopping and dining, schools, parks, things to do, etc.

I hope the downtown area gets a make over. It's very nice here in Loganville

I hear you! With a revamped downtown, Loganville will be a force to reckon with. It's already a great area!

Loganville has a Homedepot, it has been there at least since I moved there in 2012

You missed the Home Depot, we have one here. I also agree that it is becoming over populated. I don't mind not having much here and having to travel to go where I need something. Not having everything here keeps the crime rates lower.

My daughter lives in Loganville..she and her family relocated from So. Calif, due to a company promotion. IMO,Why would she select, what I consider a bugger hollow, fern gully type of place..is beyond me. There are so many better location options..Sawnee, Duluth, Peach Tree Corners, may be Lawrenceville, Buford, Snellville, Alpharetta, to name other cities she looked into. I think she's sorry now, her high school age children..hate it, her husband hates it..and if she's honest, she probably hates it too. Everytime I visit..I'm shocked..what a yuk place to live. Sorry, but not sorry!.

Thanks for your comment! Quite frankly, unless it comes down to job proximity, it's the affordability of Loganville that attracts people. Otherwise, if money wasn't an issue, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, and Suwanee are by far the best cities to live in North/Northeast metro Atlanta.

@@TimTrevathanAtlanta Yes sir, you are correct on both accounts. The accessibility to successfully commute in GA, I've found to be "very" difficult..to put it nicely. Yes, Loganville is affordable, however sometimes..too affordable, is not always a good thing.
But, I'm happy to hear from my daughter last night, that they're moving from Loganville. She said that it's not a good fit for them, and that they were too anxious to buy something coming from CA, they needed to be settled..but purchased too quickly.
They've contacted their realtor and will be viewing homes shortly in Alpharetta and Johns Creek. My daughter and son-n-law are healthcare professionals, and work for one of the largest research healthcare systems in GA. They plan to be there awhile. So, I hope that they can find a happy medium for their family. Thank you for your suggestions.
