You mentioned nothing about the Cultural Diversity. Local Hospitals with full service ER. You also need to update information about variety of restaurants and flavor choices. Good place to raise a family as most homes have a yard and sidewalks. There are Several parks with walking trails. Snellville is a 5 minutes drive to Stone Mountain Park which hosts multiple events throughout the year. Not a big city, but that’s part of the appeal.
although it is very pretty, as a snellville resident one main con you skipped over is crime, reports of crime are low but from experience ive had 3 randoms pull guns on me, i know plenty of people that have had their homes shot up here, almost everyone i know has had their house broken into, i hear gunshots at least 4-5 times a week and its not uncommon to find needles, bags, etc on the floor especially in areas that have a good amount of homeless people, theres also some parts that look very ghetto but since they arent exactly inside city limits they dont get talked about, aside from that snellville is beautiful though, ofc all cities have downsides
Thank you for sharing your personal experiences. This is really sad to hear. It must be a case-by-case situation as a close friend of mine who lives in Snellville said he feels so safe to the point that he keeps the doors to his house unlocked. What specific areas in Snellville have you experienced this if I may ask?
@@timtrevathan5189 oh that would be so nice to be able to do here but i couldnt trust that not even my car, im closer to the county lines with dekalb instead of the part of snellville that is completely in gwinnett limits, but even the south gwinnett high school is even worse than it seems and although it ranked better than shiloh last year it was definitely much worse, i know parents and students and there was a stabbing, a drug related shooting, multiple gun pullings, and a riot that resulted in 26 fights in one day to the point they had riot police shooting rubber bullets.

Lived south of Atlanta from 86 to 91 & it was a great place. Going to downtown, underground, the Omni...it was truly a city on the rise. You could see that old southern segregated culture disappearing & Atlanta was becoming the melting pot of the south. Sadly that has changed. It's obvious the disease that Atlanta (Fulton County & Clayton County especially) has become is spreading. The crime & homelessness is out of control & too many Georgian's from that area have become hostile. All you need to do is look into the board of Education there. Look at their lack of success & chosen curriculum. Gwinnett is probably still halfway decent. I suppose this comment will be deleted.
Haha, don't fret my friend! I won't delete your comment as you put a lot of effort into sharing your personal experiences related to the area! That's an honest testimony worth sharing! Being informed and choosing an area wisely to move to, especially based on schools is very important as you said. After working with past clients who have bought and sold, I know for sure that the northern metro Atlanta suburbs particularly are chosen for top tier schools that many of my clients have been happy after having moved to that location whether it's Forsyth, Gwinnett, or some parts of Fulton county.
Good point! I didn't really cover it since they are apartments, but yes, they are prime location to the town center and cultivate some of that live-work-play atmosphere and lifestyle!
In a nutshell, collectively, the people are overworked, living above their means, hostile, snooty, and mentally struggling. Terrible people that make up this city. Crime is out of control, schools suck, and customer service, anywhere you visit is always bad.
With the post-Covid inflation world that we live in, I would say a lot more places are like this other than just Snellville! Quite frankly, Snellville has been a rising contender in metro Atlanta for sure, especially in the Brookwood school district.

We are good on the home styles! That's why have a number of homeowners. High-end means unaffordability.
Do you have a video on Oconee County?
I don't unfortunately, but that's a good topic to cover on my next video, so I'll be sure to do that soon!
