6:15 WOW, Mirabeli was able to throw out a mega-speedster in Scott Podsednisk WHILE WAKEFIELD threw a 69 MPH knuckleball pitch. That was VERY IMPRESSIVE by Mirabeli
Varitek and Damon also had nice offensive seasons as well. And everybody else in the RSOX lineup had a nice On Base Percentage. And they had a nice bench.
@@Servant_of_Yeshua_ the offense did well in game 2, but all that I remember about that game is that inning in which the second basemen made error inning and the Taguchi home run afterwards...... and the offense was doing well in game 3, until the El Duque inning

Johnny Damon, Bill Mueller, Édgar Rentería, Kevin Millar, Wade Miller, Bronson Arroyo, Chad Bradford, Mike Myers, Tony Graffanino, John Olerud and Alejandro Machado's last game in a Red Sox uniform (also the last MLB game Olerud and Machado ever appeared in).
@@ghallonefive I do know some about that actually: Someone on Reddit presumably has the full widescreen Fox versions of games 4, 5, 6, and 7, or maybe even the whole series, as well as the full MLB International broadcasts for games 4, 5, 6, and 7, and they could have the full MLBI series as well. I’m just making a ton of assumptions at this point though, but the video I found on Reddit had a lot of content from the last 4 games (the Red Sox wins) of the 2004 ALCS in quality and broadcast versions that I had never seen before. Some even were paired with the WEEI radio calls in pristine quality too. Maybe they have the radio broadcasts of all 7 games from each of the 3 stations (WCBS, WEEI, and ESPN). I can help you with some though. The big 3 highlights from Game 4 (the Roberts steal, the Mueller RBI, and the Ortiz walk off homer) I do have in widescreen, and they are not just stretched to 16:9 aspect ratio either. Here they are: The Steal: ua-cam.com/video/mNs9E4woPU4/v-deo.html Mueller single: ua-cam.com/video/sGdZ4g2glns/v-deo.html Papi homer: ua-cam.com/video/rrTyola-Tds/v-deo.html
@@RyansColoradoRailProductions It's so interesting how many HD tapes exist from that period but aren't released to the public. I'd love to see more of these.
Keep Johnny Damon off base. Why White Sox win series easy. El Duque get out base load out jam later. Hitting Tim Wakefield knuckleball is 1 thing Chad Bradford submarine is another difficult task. The sweet of the camp feel good
Chicago was really really good this year
1:49:47: El Duque comes in.
2:03:36: El Duque does it.
The umps tried to give the Red Sox the game in the 7th but they forgot about Hernandez had an era under 1.53 against Boston in the postseason
el duke saved the post season

A 69 mph Wakefield knuckleball was the same pitch Aaron Boone hit out in 2003.
Ozzie F@&$)$G Guillen!! He put on a managing master class!
You cut off one of the highlights. Chris Berman crying about his childhood team losing. Happened next segment after you cut it off. Poor Chris.
Interesting that the red sox were among the top run scoring teams in the majors in 05, yet Ortiz & ramirez were all they relied on in this series.

R.I.P. Tim Wakefield

Widescreen in 2005? Wow
IKR I wish I could find the 2004 ALCS in this quality
