This is the best boat build series I've ever followed. The master (George) reminds me of my dad. He always have a new plan and design idea somewhere stored in a brain filled with years of experience and know-how, and the capacity to teach a "green" artisan a lot in a short time (At least you had months to learn the trade Timmy. We viewers only had weeks, and we have stretch marks in our brains by now).
Well done mate. This is a beautiful boat, and I know it will serve you well.
Timmy, this is clearly the best boat/trailer build and accessories series I have ever seen. You have done George, his team, and all the supporters right by reviewing the products and explaining their use and showing proper installation. This series has no equal on the internet. Where else in the world could something like this with all the support from vendors have happened that is equal to Australia. Keep the great video content coming.... Joe
Awesome series man. Big thanks to George for showing us how to do all of the little things that would have taken years for him to learn.
Surely you are supplying the bois with free liquor
I had to stop watching because George was 2 stuck up.
@@tedjames2534 We all have things we could work on. It looks to me that the need to make negative comments maybe something for you to sort out. Remember that ego is not your amigo mate.
This series really demonstrates just how much work goes into a well fitted trailer boat, and we all wonder why they are so bloody expensive
Cheers
There will be a lot of boat builders out there very displeased that George went through the entire process to build a boat. Giving away a life time of tricks and know how. It’s pretty amazing that this knowledge is so freely given.
Can’t believe how far you have come, from a pvc raft to this in a few years. You should be really proud of yourself 🤙
Seriously mate, I just learnt so much and I am completely humbled!!! UNSANITY..!!!!!
New drinking game every time Timmy says duralac take a swig! Haha. Great boat looking forward to seeing more memories made on it.
piss as a fart now CHEERS🍺
I just got alcohol poisoning 😂
watch his previous video and play the sam allen drinking game..
@@corboettel6988 I will have to go & buy another carton CHEERS
It went from a great show about building a aluminum boat to episode after episode of you pushing products.
Not long now till it's finished Timmy so excited.
Many thanks to all the people that have helped you building this.
Timmy this has been the best series I’ve ever watched thank you, I literally hang for the next drop, good job mate
Im in love with this boat. Credit to everyone whose worked on it.
What a beast…. You don’t realise how big she is till it dwarfs the land cruiser! Nice job men
Man yall do some amazing work. Keep up the great work and content. And much love to yall from Maryland❤❤❤
Wow! Double wow! You have yourself a world class vessel. I doubt it will ever let you down. George is a master, and the entire crew is totally excellent. There are really no words to explain how impressed I am.
End results great , well done to everyone .
hands down to George what a magician. great that you go through everything awesome , just love too know what it's really cost you out of pocket as I'd love to do same but not as extreme
Loved every moment of this build mate, you guys have done an exceptional job.👌🔥
Welcome back mate
You are getting close to being sea worthy! Beautiful boat you are getting made for you by a very experienced boat builder! Big thanks to him. You are going to be taking him on all expenses paid trips for a long while
Unreal series mate, bit of an upgrade from the last vessel, sooooo sickkkkkk
George you’re brilliant
The acid wash really made that thing come up great.
What a rig! Dwarfs that land cruiser!!
So good Timmy!!!
The PVC Kid has come a long way now CHEERS Timmy🍺
Thanks for sharing, My new job at RTM involves selling many of the same or similar products and you've shown me alot. Back to fishing though, love you're channel 😀😀😀😀
Can’t wait to see this beast hit the water!!
Learned a lot from this.
Great series, all nice to watch the craftmanship from George.
Lovely boat well done
Your a Wildman Timmy. Comparing this build to your last one is making me smile. 😎🤙🤘👍
Hello, Timmy, I'm a new subscriber and I saw from beginning to ending on the build of your boat . I wanna say how much I loved watching all these videos. The Men who helped you , like George, he's a very knowledgeable person with so much experience in building boat's. You and all your mate's that help build your boat have done a super fantastic job. That aluminum boat between the build and paint job looks very beautiful 💯❤️👍😎 Thank you for sharing your knowledge and videos. From an American subscriber 🇺🇸💯❤️✌️👍😎😇🙏🏻 Peace , love and much respect to you, Timmy and all subscriber's 💯❤️😎😎🙏🏻👍✌️👋🇺🇸
love the project as a commercial boat builder i can appreciate this. i have one word of advise. get some extra seals for that sea star ram. ive installed many of the tournament series ones and the seals tend to give out on the higher hp outboards. we use Suzuki twin prop 350s and had to do warranty replacements before. just be aware lol love the boat
My god mate, what a complex and incredibly well built and fit out weapon of a vessel. Congrats to George and his team and all of your sponsors mate. Great to see old school support for a guy so deserving mate. Upwards and onwards from here buddy. 😉👌🏻
I want to give you props too Timmy. It's not like you you just stood around and watched! The installation of all the "goodies" in video 5 alone is skillful to say the least.
love the series and will definitely be checking out the sponsors, durex and salmonella.
Cool to see just how much work goes into fitting out a boat with all the extras
damn TT thats one heck of an outfit u have there mate. looking forward to the motor install n the finished product.
I have really enjoyed this series. Thanks!
What a rig 🤙🏾🤙🏾😁 love it Timmy can't wait to see you break it in and get some trips filmed !!
Timmy this boat is looking amazing
Truely awesome to sea you grow from the old skiff
we are all excited for you mate
Looks mint rolling out of the shed 👌
George is a craftsman, even when his is putting on sikaflex!
Thanks Timmy
Loved the build now I need to pull all my screws back out of my build, I didn't know I needed that product on the screws, and buy stuff from your supplier for sure to finish it off
Cheers
What an absolute beast!!
Great build mate! Cant help but get a bit jealous of the rig as it all starts to come together...
Great series keep em coming. Greetings from sweden.
Gonna need to put some of your sprayers, like from the trailer, on that top. That Black is gonna get HOT.
Looks great mate. Along way from the old pvc pipe and ply board days
do another colab with rokkit kit please
U forgot to mention duralac is crazy carcenegetic and you should always wear gloves. Epic series mate
Absolutely 2 headed baby muck has been banned in lots of industry
@@kats1719 Just like antisieze , brake cleaner & 1000 other chemicals , just wear gloves .
@@barbraabsalom4531 imagine fitting out all those m5 screws with gloves on.
looks grate love your vids
Damn! What a beast!
Awesome!
I don't even want a boat but I'm jealous this boat is a beauty.
Should have added a little Strauss: Also sprach Zarathustra as you rolled her out at the end. Beautiful!
Thanks for showing us how to turn a screwdriver timmy
Should always lube any stainless nut and bolt up one you get one that lock up either doing it up or undoing it. Especially in tight places , really a pain in the ass when they bind up on the threads
Lanotec type A grease or for severe duty , salt & constant moist & temp extremes , nickel antisieze .
I would use neoprene gasket round you hatches , water will set between the surfaces .
Awesome video thanks for your time and consideration top job top team 🇬🇧 😎🤠⚓🧭
So good
Damn nice
Timmy, what is the timeline on this build? When did you start? Simply amazing. George is certainly a master builder. Have really enjoyed the series.
Love the boat , George’s know how & craftsmanship . Timmy , please get some cheapo kids paintbrushes to apply the duralac & a box of nitrile gloves , yes it’s carcinogenic as already pointed out . We don’t want you glowing yellow when you start fishing from the boat . 😁
A suggestion for you 36 volt battery instalation. If poosible, have the pos terminal on top. That way a tool or other object wont accidentaly short it to the floor, that would not end well...
Didnt hear Tim say he was applying duralac to rear face of the flat SAV winch back plate. Would hate that to be the one place the boat rots. Great series
DRINKING GAME every time he says Duralac a sip
Advise putting pump motor on top as if seal leaks it runs into motor if above motor
Great video buddy
I’ve used duralac before
It’s not going to stop corrosion for ever I’m afraid
Maybe using some kind of gaskets to stop the flat surfaces bonding may be better
Not much other options with the screws though
But in all a top job
Well done
Apparently Tef-gel lasts a lot longer than Duralac
@@dr10501 and it’s cleaner to work with!
Yeah there will be white powder developing in the future even with the duralac, not a lot you can do to totally stop it I have heard. I like using nylon washers and gaskets where possible and bolts rather than screws.
Looking great Tim , where’s your Nav lights, although I don’t think anyone would miss you.
Cheers from down south
Great Build.. But I would have put more post video credits in your videos to sponsors over the series.. They did amazing job to help out.
The Captain X Timmy Turtle soon?
I swear if I hear Duralac one more time......😉
Noice
around 18:00 you reference a half moon shape which i think is the key to the shaft on the helm wheel, though continuing watching, I'm not sure you replaced it did you? Great work so far, keep it up!
looks like you may have fixed it around 51:00
"A whole Heap" lol how much is 1 Heap?
Love your vids my man!
6 bolts for 250hp and over and your 2 bolts short? You putting a 250hp on the back of that beast :D
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s 300hp. there not much difference in weight and with all that gear in the boat. It’s been a really good fit out 👏
Hey there Tim. I am Gary and I have been following you since your other boat build. I have been following you on this build as well. I was wondering how the boat operated. I am from Michigan, US. I am a firm believer in seeing as much as I can before I can't. I, like you are a traveler and an explorer. I was in the Navy and then I became a truck driver/long haul. I know you mentioned that you wanted to get out on the boat, but I haven't seen any video sent in lately. Well, good luck and I am interested in seeing how you are getting things done. (send me a email when you can)
Looks like you need a pair of air bags on that truck
Would George consider doing a kit boat. Send it out on a pallet. ????
clearly you didn't learn much while watching the build!
@@craggles7 screw cutting by hand mate.
What do we put on the stainless to stop it corroding again? 😂
Wait till you hear the noise that light bar makes. Like wind chimes.
Is there timber inside your transom Motor Mount to sandwich the both sides together ?
Does anyone know what episode Timmy and George show what brand of Ali cutter they use for the cordless angle grinder? Cheers
The plastic antenna ratchet mount will break. Buy a stainless steel mount. Please take George fishing.
Curious, what's the reason behind using SS screws instead of aluminium rivets for those hatch/general mounting/non-stainless items?
Hi Timmy, the only thing missing is auto steering.?
wondering when you will fish from your boat
I might have missed something but I did not see any navigation lights.
They were pre fitted in a previous vid, so they're there somewhere.
@@chats5957 Thanks for the feedback. Timmy is doing a fantastic job with a lot of help from his mates and sponsors. Can't wait to see the boat in action.
use mondal fittings, no need for that paste then.
Cup holders Turtle?
What’s the name of the stuff you put on the stainless hardware?
Duralac , I have been using it for decades . I’ll give you an example , stainless bolts through a galvanised trailer with aluminium spacer blocks to hold the trailer lights & keep them watertight on a flat surface , dunked in saltwater approx 600 times , pulled it apart years later , no electrolysis evident , proof it works. It is carcinogenic so please use gloves when applying.
I wonder how many times you said duralac in this episode, 🤔
what motor is going on the back?
why the need for a jack plate?
Whats the package like this worth?
Light bars are generally useless on boats and create more problems than good.Yes it looks cool but that’s it.
Does anyone know who Timmy got the deck hardware from?
Got laugh out of me Bob, cheers
