The reason the Forest is closed is because of High Fire Danger. People from Phoenix come up here to get out if the heat. I get that. What I don't understand is why they leave their trash everywhere and apparently have not learned how to properly extinguishe their camp fires. We don't need any more human caused fires!!!
I was out at Saguaro Lake in June...social distancing....most people didn't want to, that might be part of the problem......no virus here. I was there just before the fires.
How about a road trip video up the Beeline? I took three U-Hauls & a car that way, but I couldn't enjoy the view, just trying to "keep the shiny side up and the greasy side down." Payson was still 85 miles from (now) home, and I just wanted to get there. BTW, today it was a frigid 99F @ 5700 feet. You'd freeze up here! LOL (You really would in January).
He won't keep it on the down low. He's selling out anything left intact of the state to Pide Piper undesirables to AZ so he can put a couple of bucks in he and his brother's pockets. That's what this channel is all about. Its really too bad.
Closed due to fire risk, not Covid. I took same path you did 2 weeks ago. Tonto was closed then. Rangers at Mogollon Rim Visitors Center said they even had Oregon Hotshots staying in Tonto to assist.
Canyon Point Campground is My Family's favorite place to camp. We've been going there for over 15yrs.

Seems like every year it gets worse and worse with the attitude "your rules don`t apply to us as we are from the valley" mentality.
Thanks for the ride Jeff! Fantastic views.
THANK,YOU, FOR THE TOURS ITS AWESOME .
Being out there is like having no worries! 👍👍
Thanks brother, great video!!
I want to be there! Were roasting in 117 degree heat in phoenix today.
Really beautiful place
Thank you. Hoping to head that way myself.
Wow...I always thought AZ was just desert. I have been to Phoenix and Tucson. Loved seeing where the westerns were filmed😊
Nope. We have it all. Cold, hot, snow, desert, lakes. We even almost have a beach if you drive to Rocky Point, Mexico
@ 10:27 I am so glad you pointed out that "There's a Duck". who'da thunk it? lol
One of your best ever !
Thanks Paul
Yeah man..I lived in Arizona for 7 years and I been pretty much everywhere, Payson is great and underrated
From Philippines moving to AZ in 2021 this is a good video

We go to Payson for the day to play in the snow.
Tonto is closed due to high fire 🔥 hazard , not COVID.
Oh I guess you knew after all lol

Oh yeah that’s the place to be during Phoenix heat waves
Beautiful state cant wait to move there
Tonto national Forrest is not closed due to COVID-19. Its closed due to extreme fire danger we have this time of year.
...and everyone thought they left all that fire stuff back in Commie-fornia!!!
Your sunglasses are beautiful 😎
When my mother died in 1996, her wish was to have her ashes scattered on the Mogollon Rim.
They closed the forest because of fire danger not COVID. The only COVID tie in is the lack of fire fighters, but that was not the reason for closing.
You ever go camping in AZ in the winter ?
#feel the heat.
But this place is great...
❤❤❤
The forest will be closed until we get enough monsoons to soak the forest. Fire danger is high right now
Fire,Fire, Fire was the reason it was closed after Bush Fire, Messed up my fishing this summer.
What was the temp up there?
About 88 degrees
Did you guys get a glimpse of the Mogollon monster
Anything like "Bigfoot?"
I meant to ask some locals about that
You gotta keep these videos on the down low. There are already too many people on the Rim during the weekends.

@David Allen The people invading Arizona are like the Prawns in the movie District 9

What is your opinion on places to move to in this area? Looks great and not so hot?
I heard good things about Pine and Strawberry
Thanks@@LivinginArizona
Move to Four Corners. You'll love it there.
@@jimdandy8996 Could not find any of YOUR videos on it so moving to just Arizona. Can hardly wait to get in touch with his brother!
@@mikeobrien4437 So if I made Arizona videos then you wouldn't be moving to Arizona? That makes no sense. lol
i live in payson and they closed the forest because of the fire hazard not covid...no fireworks for us this year
"StreetGraves" "Seatgroves" probably Sitgreaves
What was the temperature?
About 88 on the rim
@@LivinginArizona Still too hot for me. I will give it a couple of weeks.
They do not want people in the forest or camping because of the fire danger during summer not Covad19
LOL, fresh air is the best thing to kill a virus! Must be why the lunatics close Tonto. Too healthy.
Wayyyyyyy to much trees!
Go camping
And take your trash home!!!
Learn how to pronounce MO Gol Lon Rim.
Hearing people mispronounce Mogollon makes me ears bleed
