perfect help, thanks. Took me about 5-10 min.
Thank you for the video. I was trying to get the nut off by turning it to the left. You saved me from asking my sharp neighbor who would harass me for a few days. I'm an old submariner.
I've noticed that no one ever brings up just how freaking tight that nut is...and yeah, I'm going reverse.
What size Allen wrench did you use?
Great video. Thanks
Great video , it made the job a snap !
Thanks for watching
THANKS FOR THE INFO ! !!!
What size/dimensions of the cotter pin fit (length and width)? ThanksHelpful vid!
Thank you so much
Thanks a bunch!
Bought mine in 2013, first time changing the blade in 2020, can't find instructions. Thank you so much.
how to adjust the wheel height? I took out the first bolt with a 13 mm, but can’t turn to loosen the next?
Thanks, I had already tried to do the lefty Lucy, righty tighty ......I must have a newer. model, I have no cotter pin..;-)....
What is the pin for? Just extra security? My stihl doesn't have a pin.
Yeah you don't really need it. It just keeps the nut on it. Thanks for watching.
Do you know how to change the shaft?
7-3/4" or 8"blade for this model? Thanks for the post

Thanks friend!
Thanks
What happens if you don’t put a cotter pin back in?
Probably nothing but it’s a safety so that the nut won’t spin off and the blade goes flying.
@@MIKESGARAGE813 My old one got rusted in, broke off and a piece stuck in the middle. Can't put a new pin in.

Mine is a 17 mm socket or 11/16 socket but the 17 mm fits better. It's not 18 mm.
Don’t need the pin. Useless.
It’s a safety measure. If you don’t want it don’t use it. I will always have it on mine.
How is the power
