Machine gun kinda meh? With braced frame the thing has a 60 round magazine and great stability, if you get all head shots with the entire mag (which isn't hard at all) you're putting 180 rounds down range with no reloading. With a legendary machine gun, that doesn't sound like "meh" sir.

I got 3 exotics in 2 full completions - 2x 385 and 1x 396. This means if you get really lucky you can get 2 exotics from the same chest (1 capped at 385 and 1 capped at 400).
Byf the chests can give you up to 400 gear. A few of my teammates got above 390 gear. But sometimes it does just randomly give you something at only 385.
The hidden chests have TWO exotic chances, Normal and Heroic. Normal exotics drop at 385, Heroic exotics drop up to 400. Someone in Slayer's fireteam got two on their second HM run and confirmed it. Just to clear it up.
I pulled a 395 Thunder lord out of the first exotic chest and then a 385 sky burners annex out the second so I guess you can get higher than 385 but it's rare

Hey so has anyone had the issue of some of your teammates dying while in the safe rooms while fighting vosik? We manage to get into the safe rooms pretty early but some of us die inside for some strange reason.
I made a SIVA cache key with full inventory and it went to postmaster, so I cleared some room but the next 2 keys still went to postmaster and I didn't get to open last chest, RIP :(

I'm 385 right now. I'm willing to bet that's enough that I can just go ahead and do hard. I do have another question though. If I run normal first, I'm assuming that if I open a chest on normal, regardless if it needs a cache key, it won't open and give me loot on hard?

MakoGT The weapons are different. You will only get the Shotgun, Fusion, Scout, Auto, and Rocket on Normal mode. If you have the ones that you want on that list, then there's no point in doing Normal.

Stuck on Vosik Phase 2. I have tried with multiple different teams and they always die. Finally had a team that nearly did it but one guy always failed. I just want the raid done. The rest of Heroic does not look bad at all but this first proper encounter is annoying. If anyone wants to help me on PS4 that would be great D:

I think bungie got lazy with this hard mode. What i thought would be hard is aksis teleports 2 oer 3 times randomly and with each teleport the empowerment changes (which whoever is empowered could stand on those giant baterry things by where he teleports) and yea i also expected those back monitors to light as well and thought there could be 2 monitors instead of one. I think bungie just made this raid too easy for new players to get gear. What bungie doesn't understand is if you make it easy for new players to level up, the veterans are going to be stuck carrying a bunch of noobs who don't know what they're doing, and believe me that's frustrating

Jacob Kern Nah, everything from crucible and strikes caps at 385. Trials and the raid are the only way to get to 400 light. The Nightfall also drops up to 400 light gear but it's not exactly reliable.

It's definitely 7 Charges to break Aksis' shield, not 8. Tested the several times.

Is there a way to get to 400 light without grinding the boing raid?
Crucible rewards, Nightfalls, Trials, Iron Banner, in other words, the same way you have been able to get to max light since April.
