Heading to Mexico City in a month from Canada. I find it amazing how much their money looks like Canadian money! Even our $2 coin has the same bi-metal look! So neat!!
I know that woman (Maria Angelina Alexander) If you were born and raised in new York you'd know too, she's my family's Broker for 3yrs till now and a very good one if you asked me. No doubt she is the one that helped you get where you are!!!!
I managed to get my hands on that 100 mexican pesos I found in my mother's unused purse. She doesn't remember how she had it but I'm glad she did. I live here in the Philippines with my folks and we also used Philippine Pesos here.
Cool! I have been to the Philippines about 10 years ago. Beautiful people and country! Will definitely travel back! Thanks for joining us on the Journey! 😎
Just subscribed ... This is the 2nd video ... you have Allende, in San Miguel de Allende, down pad, so in three months you have the double l sound ... nice mustache, like a native ... and your attitude even on that first video at home in Puerto Vallarta was excellent ... I live in Florida and have been thinking of retiring closer to my native tongue and was thinking Spain or Portugal or even Ecuador, but more and more perhaps Mexico ... thank you for your videos ...
Thank you Xose for your wonderful comments! We are glad that you enjoy our videos. 🙂 Best of luck to you in your retirement plans. Thank you again for subscribing to our channel and for watching our videos. 😎
And last time it was far less expensive than here in the US especially the 🍺. Eating out or drinking much less. Hotel rooms very fancy still about the same price from 2015 about $40. Smack dab in downtown Mexico City.
I looked at the very same semi luxury hotel not too long ago in late 2022 and it was about the same price. About $40-50 a night two king size beds four adults. It was me and my mom and sister . Much more luxurious than I can afford in the US 😂
@@GeneandRenee maybe you haven’t been here in the US lately but Mexico still might be relatively cheaper than the US sure they’ve gone up prices but not like here ? In San Antonio Tx Tecate beer 6 pack 🍺 $11 and change . At bar and grill you easily spent $12 minimum for dinner. Often higher
It would be great if you can point to this or that costing how many pesos. Like for the 50 centavos buy a couple of pieces of lil gum or for a 10 pesos you can get a lil modest breakfast or a beer or soda something like that.
Thanks Frank! I’ll try to do better at that. I usually save my receipts but then forget to dig through them later to get prices and put on the episode. Hope you’re having a great beginning to the weekend!! We appreciate you joining us on the journey! 😎
@@hanniaximena1885Gracias! That's what I was thinking. It's like 200 pesos for a good full breakfast. I've been wondering how much to exchange really. Going to Yucatan and Q.R. I'd rather have pesos on me than usd. Do you think exchanging 250 usd for pesos for a week.... is mmm too much to carry around?
@cjd5255 I wouldn’t carry that much around, however if you do I would suggest doing the same you would do in the U.S. - put $50 worth in your wallet, and the rest in other places. I practice the same precautions everywhere. Thank you for watching our channel. We hope you’re having an awesome weekend! 😎
2:40 Can I ask you if that 20 pesos bill is accepted as payment? Sorry, I couldn't find any information and I heard that the banknotes was just a commemorative note. Thank you and have a nice day.
Thank you for watching our videos and joining us on the Journey. Yes, the banknotes are legal tender. I spent the money you saw in that episode while in San Miguel de Allende. Hope you’re having a great week my friend! 🙂
Trick question Joshua? 😂 20 pesos in Mexico is 20 pesos. Now if you’re asking about 20 pesos compared to the U.S. dollar and the Canadian dollar - 20 pesos (as of 22APR24) is the equivalent to $1.17 U.S. dollar or $1.60 Canadian. A good app is XE which allows you to compare different currencies from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe to your home currency. Thank you for joining us on the Journey! Hope you have an awesome week! 😎
Cool! Enjoy heading back to California. We have some California travel vids coming up in late March and early April of next year. Thanks for joining us on the Journey!! 😎

Yes it does! America will evidently never understand that printing more and more money doesn’t really mean that the money is worth anything. We have been digging our financial grave for decades and are so far in debt that my grandchildren will suffer because of it! Such a shame!! Sorry for the rant…😢 Hope you have a great weekend my friend! 😎

Not sure who’s a lawyer 🤣

*I'm glad you made this video,* it reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to good home, $89k biweekly and a good daughter full of love..
Please how ?
It's Maria Angelina Alexander doing she's changed my life. A BROKER- like her is what you need.
$356K monthly is something you should feel differently about....
Lovely! I enjoyed it like I enjoy a $100k monthly around the turn!!!

Very similar to the Australian money in regards to counterfeiting safe guards
I'd vary much like to know more about this counterfeiting safe guard's.
Excellent content

Inflation hit Mexico. Bummer! I remember those sweet prices too! 🙃

Wow! Darn politicians can’t do anything right. 😵💫
10 pack here (Todos Santos) $7.75 in on store, or $1.05 by the can in another store.

It’s because i have the 2 bill you just showed & wanted to know how much it’s worth out there or how about $800 US dollars in Mexico?
$800 U.S. dollars is worth about $13,700 pesos. 🙂
Hi Gene, you missed only one bill and one Coin..the 1000 pesos bill or 50 US dlls equivalente and the 20 pesos Coin or 1 US 💵
Hmmm, we haven’t seen any of those. The ATM only gives out the 500 as its highest. Bummer! 🙂
Can you share the name of the app that animates the currency?
Jim, here’s a link to a UA-cam video about it. Evidently I don’t know how to make it work.
