Surprise! Long time no see. The wise thing to do would be to hold onto this for a bit longer while I finish other things, but it's been so long since I've posted that I just want something out there!
I started this almost a year ago and have worked on it spottily ever since then. Overall, the total amount of work could probably be condensed down to around a month.
The reason I wanted to up the production quality for this project is that I plan to tell their full story in one way or another. Likely, you'll see them in a webcomic... but I'm still figuring out the logistics of that. In any case, these are characters in a story that I deeply care about and have intentions to take seriously. So, of course, they need to look their best when I introduce them to you guys. Unfortunately, that also means I'm not going to throw all the lore around willy-nilly...
This fellow here is Corinne, the protagonist of the story. This video is a glimpse into his past. The young lady you see him reminisce is named Katharina. I'll leave figuring out the rest up to you for now. ^^

THIS IS SO GOOD-- I absolutely love the use of the colors and styles, we can easily see the flashbacks or the present and follow the story even though it's quick and full of emotions!! It's so dynamic and the animation is so great! Really, your line work is so pretty to look at, you can feel the textures of the objects, the burnt/claws effects (especially in the scene Corinne is destroying his bedroom), just by the lines! And the transitions?! They are SO smooth and well though!! Make us want to watch it again and again!

Damn this is so good shit! Loved the way that more proper animation was used more sparingly, really made their appearances feel more intense in my opinion

HOLY SHIT this is so phenomenal. I don't often get emotional while watching stuff but this got to me bad argh it's so painful but in a good way and all in just 4 minutes. Shockingly beautiful, really ❤. And the designs of your characters are just amazing.
