On page #52, of "Silent Death: The Next Millennium," in the paragraph titled "Torpedoes," it says, "players with torpedoes may launch one or more torpedoes." It does not say "one per fighter."

That had me too until I realized you could launch all at once, which is usually the best option!

I haven't watched the playthrough but not sure if you called out which is the gunner die as you auto hit/miss if the base pair double.
We decided to do a mass chose your own combat of I think 5000 points. We thought we had a good mix. Opponent put out a crap ton of revenges, TBirds and other torp heavy ships. He simple sait on turn one we will be launching an obscene abount of torps and at which ships. We quit then and went for pizza.
Yes, those torp counter are irritating.
One other thing, was really irritated when they recycled some of the ship minis/pictured for new ones and came out with newer ones for the older ships.
