We're getting back to van life for a moment while we figure out a base and carry on house hunting in Scotland until we find 'the one!'

I reached burnout almost a year ago and made some hard decisions, that very few people understood and still question. But you have to do what is good for you. I hate to speak for your community, but we are ALL here for you. You are loved!

I stumbled into woodworking while renovating an old house and soon to be hubby is right that you WILL need a truck. The only advice I would give is take your time once you find a place because the frustration factor is HUGE but the rewards once you step back and view your handiwork are just as large. It doesn't happen overnight, think two years to get things close to your desired outcome. Oh yes, short trips will be a God send just to clear your heads. Either way, GOOD LUCK!!

Craig, thanks for sharing about your depression. You are not alone. When you talk honestly about it, you are helping yourself and others who wonder, “What’s wrong with me?” I have loved ones in my life that go through a very similar experience of what you described. The #1 thing for healing, is being able to talk about it (this is based on my experience). You both are awesome humans.

I can so relate when Craig said he became unable to make a decision. I woke up this morning and I didn't know if I should use the toilet, brush my teeth or wash my face. I just stared at the mirror, lost. I'm under a ton of stress; my Mom needs constant care and there's no way out for me. I'm so glad you guys are doing what you need to do to take care of yourselves. I live vicariously through youtubers 🙂

I have been a very avid viewer of your channel for many years. I’m not sure if I’ve even commented ever before. But this video has motivated me to express my thoughts.
Craig & Amy, you’re both some of the most genuine people I think I’ve ever had the privilege to watch here on UA-cam.
One of the main attractive points of you both are that you’re local and I can really relate to you both.
I’m not gonna go on a massive tangent, but all I can say is this:
I’ve searched my whole life to meet people like me, who are people like you, but within the place that society says I should find, like in my local area.
But that’s been so hard!
I feel like most people think I’m either posh, full of myself or ‘entitled’; and trust me none of those things are true!
I saw the beginning of one of your videos the other day where you talked about the hate you got from people about your wigs.
It beggars belief!

Love y😊u guys. Think about NOT doing a renovation project. Renos are very stressful and a fast track to divorce. Please rethink this track. You can always do day trips for content. You can do small decorating projects but fixer uppers are stressful.

I'm glad you're going to put yourselves before the UA-cam world (for awhile or ever); I can only imagine how much work it is to run the channel and your business and be a nurturing couple. I've been following (and absolutely loving) your channel for several years and will miss the weekly videos, but would rather know that you're enjoying your lives for yourselves and not your fans/followers. I don't think I could handle being 'on camera' all the time; I just got on the road last year (much thanks to the encouragement you always give everyone) and have had several people tell me to start a UA-cam channel. I could definitely use the potential income, but couldn't deal with the stress of the business-end and have to worry about how everything will look and sound, rather than just being in the moment. I would love to meet you guys if you ever make it the Quartzsite AZ or somewhere else in the US at some point, but will love your strength and follow your channel regardless. As a person who suffers from depression also, I want to thank you for sharing your journeys with us. You are both wonderful people and deserve a good home base to stabilize at when needed. I love watching you no matter what you are doing. Remodeling can be stressful and therapeutic at the same time. Before my husband passed away we bought a house and totally gutted it and redone it. Sometimes we had to pick different rooms to work on for a break from each other. And sometimes we had to take a week or weekend away for both of us. Keep smiling sweethearts and enjoy each other.
Nine years - it has been for the “long term”! It’s normal for life and goals to change. It’s time and it’s ok! Best wishes! 🎉

I once had a counselor remind me....mental health is a lifelong journey. Some days are great and some days are not, and that's okay. Started binge watching you a year ago after I saw you with Kara and Nate & instantly fell in love. Admire your dedication to "Ruling your own World" and being true to it. Loved all your videos! Having traveled all over the world myself, I was able to relive many of those moments "vicariously" through you and thank you for this. Going through round 4/12 of chemo. Mentally I’m about 50/50 as well. My hubby and I wanted a dog in our twenties but to have one we needed to have our own house. And to get that we needed to save. 15 years later we have a house, have our dog, had our wedding, have our kids and just got to get through chemo and save for a holiday to find my ancestral roots in Scotland and England.
You two post a video and us loyal subs will watch. Honestly I wasn’t hooked on your channel from the adventures and travel destinations. I was hooked on both of your personalities. BRING IT KINGIN’ IT !!!
9 years already? Jesus haha It genuinely warms my heart to see where you're at friends. To be completely honest, I've missed many, many of your trips over the years because you know, life haha But I've always rooted for you and your success. When we've met in NZ back in 2015 (in Queenstown) and you let us use to driveway to park our campervan and then went together on a little trip, that was high point for me for the time I've lived there because, personally, meeting two complete kind strangers that were in to do whatever was a great human experience. Even the first night, we only ordered pizza and watched a movie and that was nice :) If you finally come to Canada and stop by Montreal (because that's where I'm from and currently live), I'll be more than happy to help you with anything :) Cheers!
