Nice to see Morgan's grave. I expected to see some she'll casings and more pool chalk cubes or a pool ball. I haven't been there but hope to go this next year. That was quite the train wreck that you stumbled across. Thanks for showing us his grave and I also wanted to thank you for mentioning my Morgan Earp video.
Wyatt Earp was in Hollywood California and was on a movie lot visiting and met John Ford and a very young prop man by the name Marian Morrison who was soon to be John Wayne.
Hi Ron Brilliant video, so interesting and so sad, bless the Earps family, especially Morgan Earp, lovely grave site for him, some of those grave stones need a bit of a trim round, I love the grave stone at the end which said BE NiCE. If only we could always be nice to each other the world be a much better place. Thanks Ron your a good man. Xxx
Hey you saw the Be nice bench- you’re the first want to comment on that. That means you stayed to the end? Ha ha Ha. Yeah that was the most interesting and cool saying I think I found so far ever. Simple, be nice!!
It was one special very exciting time in America’s history, if I could go back in time that’s when I would live, to totally explore and be a pioneer would be so exciting. I’ve always been an adventurer
So so much history from those gone in the past but always in our heart's and memories...i am a descendant of Jesse James my self...Always heard of him from great grand parent's.
Hi my dad is an avid listener! He had a foot surgery not too long ago and watching you helps keep him entertained, so thank you! He wanted me to ask if you would be able to get any item of anything that someone prominent invented and then go find their grave and tell their story? He says like for example whomever invent bobby pins or like that? We're from the Pittsburgh p.a. area....beaver county to be exact.... He enjoys your knowledge and tunes in everyday. His name is Steve. I'm Stacy! Thanks so much!
Well now that is very encouraging to hear your dad is hanging out here and likes what we’re doing. I like that idea and I will definitely weave it into future plans. Probably won’t be until next year because most of the stuff coming through the end of this year has already been shot, but it’s in my mind now and I’ll give you a shout out! Best wishes to your family on Thanksgiving, in Beaver country, and hope your dad gets better soon and he starts hopping around.
I'm so glad you made this video, Ron. I live in Colton. Both sides of my family are buried here. I've worked with one of the Great granddaughter of Wyatt Earp, Sally. She still works at the same workplace. I've known her for years very nice girl. Wyatt had a house in Colton not to far from the cemetery. I had a friend who lived there as a teenager. I remember going there many times. She would tell me it's haunted. Not sure who lives there now. Behind you, Where Morgan is buried, is a vacant field. It used to be a place called, Frontier Town. It was built to look like the Wild Wild West. They would have shows every hour and guys would dress like Cowboys. The Frontier Town closed down in 2004 and knocked down in 2005. Sadly, it was one of my favorite childhood memories. It was my Grandma's 19th death anniversary, I just visited the cemetery this past Saturday. Too bad I missed you. I love watching your videos. God Bless.
Oh Anna, you have some really intriguing Earp connections. Long ago I had some connections with the Earp descendants in Monmouth, Illinois, through one of my business partners who grew up there. I had the fortune of viewing a lot of the old manuscripts from the Earps. Anyway, I was there And Colton and other areas near LA and shot six episodes about a month ago, beautiful area I was based in a hotel in Rancho Cucamonga. All that stuff will be coming out, another one (a really good one) this Sunday night 8 PM central time, premier
@@lhzook - VERY good point. You are correct. Must be from one of the brothers. 100% could not be Wyatt - he absolutely had NO children, not even with his Sadie. (that anyone knows of!! Now wouldn’t that be earth shattering if something came out on that??!!)
I went to college in Riverside and my roommate was from Colton. I remember the frontier town when we would go to her parent's house (typically after a night at Club Metro...since demolished). I remember her late father telling us an Earp was buried near there and we both thought he was full of it. Maybe one day we will make it back there to see it.
I’m a huge fan of the Earps! I remember a quote John Ford said that Wyatt told him if people knew everything he did he wouldn’t be considered an American hero.
Awesome video, Ron. I absolutely love your videos. You bring to life so wonderfully these people and their stories. I’ve been making a list of all the books you recommend. I like to read too and I love history. Your research is amazing. Your video on natural video, I feel, was important. I love this idea, giving back to the earth that has sustained us. I’ve also heard of plants and trees being planted above the body. To think my body could become a tree is such a magical idea. Thank you sir. Stay safe.
Morgan Earp was originally buried a few miles south in the Colton Cemetery At Agua Mansa then moved to his current resting place there at Hermosa Cemetery. Virgil Earps Home Here in Colton while he was justice of the peace still exist today not far from the Cemetery. Thanks Ron
I graduated from Ramona High School in Riverside California in 1960 - which is very close to Colton, Calif. One of those graduating with me was an Earp and I can only presume was related.
Another GREAT Western story, Ron! Always enjoyed historical background on the Earps. What's interesting...just as much history concerning this family took place right here in Wichita...probably more so, but the folks of Dodge City embraced their Western Heritage, opposed to those in Wichita that didn't want to be reminded that we were a simple cowtown...Ha! By the way...Ed Masterson is buried in Highland Cemetery, here in Wichita...with his folks. He was killed, as you know, in Dodge City after Wyatt and the clan headed for Tombstone. Another grave to visit🤠👍
If you are still in Southern California, visit Westminster Memorial Gardens in Westminster CA. Located on Ca 39 (Beach Blvd) at Bolsa Ave. Buried there in a mass grave are the unidentified remains of aviation's worst disaster in 1977 at Tenerife, Canary Islands. Two 747s collided on the runway, killing over 400 passengers.
Thank you so much for the inter string video. I like learning more about the Earp's, very in string to me! Happy Thanksgiving. God bless you, stay well and safe.
Your story of Morgan felt like being right there where the action was happening, transported in time!! Thanks for sharing the Earp's lives with us!!!👏👍🏻😇🥰🙏🏻
This is very interesting! I didn't know there were so many Earps. Will be neat if someone finds out some details about the train disaster. I'm sure some of those victims were full of anticipation about the new lives ahead of them. It's sad to think about.
I don’t know if you know but wyatts second wife Hattie is buried in Arizona at the pinal pioneer cemetery near superior az she either died from suicide or a overdose
Awesome video! I live 17 miles from Tombstone, and have studied the history exhaustively. Morgan's assassins included Frank Stilwell, Pete Spence, a man named Bode, another named Freize, with Indian Charlie and Hank Swilling as lookouts. Ike Clanton had nothing to do with that particular event. Neither did Curly Bill Brocius or John Ringo. And the Vendetta Ride included Wyatt, Doc Holliday, "Texas Jack" Vermillion, Sherm McMaster, Warren Earp, Charles "Hairlip Charlie" Smith, "Turkey Creek" Jack Johnson, and Dan Tipton. They were empowered by Deputy U.S. Marshal Wyatt Earp as a Federal Posse, and were chased across Southern Arizona by Sheriff Johnny Behan's County Posse, composed primarily of outlaws, cattle thieves, and stage robbers. And despite the tombstone, I don't believe Morgan was a Deputy U.S. Marshal. He served as a policeman in Kansas, Montana, and Tombstone, A.T.
Randy,Happy Thanksgiving. Your channel has grown leaps and bound which I’m sure has taken a lot of work. Continued good luck.Everything your doing you can tell comes from the heart.I may have made a few dumb jokes when I shouldn’t have until I read the reason you started the channel. That will never happen again. In uncomfortable situations my wife thinks I act like a child some times.I’m working on it. Again Happy Thanksgiving. I really enjoy your channel.continued success my friend.
Loving the Earp stories.......my favorite movie is Tombstone so these stories are very interesting. Thanks for the channel and a Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
There was some dispute over Morgan Earp's burial site because he was originally interred at the old city cemetery called Slover Mountain Cemetery in Colton. His remains were moved when that cemetery closed down due effects of mining operations by the Slover Mountain Mining Co. in 1892. Morgan was buried in a suit provided by Doc Holliday who always said that Wyatt Earp was his friend, but he dearly loved his brother Morgan.
Very interesting family, and I really enjoyed seeing a cemetery so very different than ours in the mid-west. It's fun to see different styles of monuments displayed in the diverse topographies.
Such a good story. Thank you for sharing this information with everyone. I always imagined they were buried near to each other but they were buried here and there across the US and that actually works out better because it gives several states some claim to fame. 🙂
Thank you, Ron. I love your stories, one and all. I trust your information as I know how deeply you delve into each subject. I could listen to a new adventure every night. Please have a blessed Thanksgiving.
Folks where tough as nails back in the day. They weren't spoiled by all the comfort tech we have these days. And if there was a score to be settled they didn't him haul around about it.
What a BRILLIANT video!! You are an AMAZING storyteller, Ron!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your videos!! May Morgan Earp RIP!! By the way, are there any Earp descendants alive today?! XXXX

Yes Rhetty, it’s worth the trip. Anxious to see what your take is when you get there!!
May Morgan and all his brothers rest in peace
Wyatt Earp was in Hollywood California and was on a movie lot visiting and met John Ford and a very young prop man by the name Marian Morrison who was soon to be John Wayne.
Not many people know that. ;-)
@@lindafurr2404 Yes.
I knew that John Wayne is my 5th cousin that is my family
Buried in one of Doc Holliday's suits
Oh my gosh, that’s right. I remember hearing that. Thanks for adding that Kyle!!
What a story! I love reading and learning more about the Earps! And of course, love cemeteries. Thanks!
Thanks for stopping by buddy. Glad you liked it. It’s all such fun, let’s all keep doing these stories!!

Interesting family, the Earps, hope Morgan rests in peace. Thanks for this part of the story 👍🏻👋🏻🙏🏻😊😘
I love these wild west videos!🤠The time period was reasonably short but what a era! Thank You Ron ❤!

Glad we could help, and hope you’re feeling better now.

Yea that was considered the worst air disaster to that time. I think the Japanese airliner crash surpassed it with over 500 deaths?

Colton? Just down the street…never knew!
Funny thing is Tombstone was a fight between the Earps and cowboys over bordellos and gambling
Love the heart shaped stone with cross on top
RIP Morgan Earp and thank you for your service as a U.S. Deputy Marshal

You sure know your history! Another great video Ron!
I have been to his grave many times
Thanks Ron. I've loved hearing about the Earp family since I was a child. In Australia in the early 70s they had a show based on them...✌️🦋
She was a very pretty woman
The grave of big nose Kate is here in Prescott az. A pretty good story about her last year's in Prescott.
Lol! "Be nice." A great episode Ron! Huge Earp fan here.
