When I'm praying for others, it's probably close to a 9. It's a whole 'nother story when praying for myself, though. My goal is to narrow that gap. This message will definitely help me to do so.
I've been praying harder then I've ever prayed in my life for the last week. I've been praying for my dad to get a job. He hasn't had a job in four months and we've depleted all our savings. We only have enough to survive for this month and that's it. I've been praying for a job and he had a job interview for today and they canceled. It was his only job offer after all these months. I was so looking forward for my dad to get that job and I prayed confidently about it, but nothing happened. That really took a plunge on my faith, but this video helped me to understand God a bit better. Tbh I've forgotten god for a long time, but now that I'm going through a bad situation then I come back. I know were supposed to be with god in the good and the bad, I'm just foolish. I will continue to pray and fight for me and my father, no matter the outcome. This hurts so so so so bad, but I will continue to pray.

What is the Gospel you might ask, well the Gospel means good news and the good news is that Jesus came down from heaven, became a man in the likeness of our sinful flesh (a human) to defeat sin in the flesh by His death on the cross. Which is why the Death of Jesus isn't to be seen as defeat but victory, because it is the only way to be saved and get into heaven.
I have been praying to God for a wife since 2010. It's over 13 years praying, but nothing happens. I am now 33 years old with no children. I begged God so many times in prayers. I have seen other people who don't pray and find good wives except for me. I feel rejected by God and it hurts to my soul to the core till I am spiritually scared. It makes me cry sometimes looking how long I have been asking him for help.

Marriage is hard and In your waiting period God is training you to be the man you need to be for eventually when he brings the right girl you will be well equipped to be the head of your home. Thank you for being vulnerable and honest with this beautiful message! I’ve wondered this many times. God miraculously healed me of Narcolepsy and gave me new life. I was overweight, sleeping 20+ hours a day, could barely get out of bed, and when I did I would have cataplectic episodes. I had to quit my job, quit school, and was miserable. But He rescued me from the pit of despair and breathed new life into me. Why He answered my prayer to be healed? I don’t know, but I am forever thankful. Keep praying, we serve a God who listens!!

I have narcolepsy and cateplexy since the age of 8. I am now 52. More than being healed from that I’ve been praying for 7 long years for reconciliation with my ex husband of 24 years and children. I heard the voice of God not too long ago to trust Him. I’m about to homeless again that i have been doubting that I ever heard His voice :( I cast all doubt and worry from my mind in Jesus name Amen
I have had an unanswered prayer for decades, now. Today the Holy Spirit lead me to this sermon! It had to be from God to strengthen my faith! Except according to this guy, the only reason that they’re not getting better is because something is wrong with the way that you’re doing it, right? If everything is possible for someone who believes, and you clearly believe then, we seriously have a problem here if the explanation is supposed to be passing it off to you like it’s your fault when you are clearly asking for a good things, being faithful, and doing it with good intentions. We need a better explanations than some of these cheap answers that are given at the beginning of this.
@@jeffreyvonstetten5852I thought the same at first but he gives two answers. 1) as you mentioned, unforgiveness or some other form of crutch you are dealing with that’s unlike God. And 2) Gods sovereignty. Both answers do not feel good to hear but are answers. Prayer isn’t a request mechanism, it’s simply communication. God’s will, will always be carried out. The more you communicate (pray) the more you understand God or his actions. However, even Jesus didn’t know everything God was going do in his life. Hence him asking why did God forsake him (Matthew 27:46). But by his communication (prayers) he was able to explain it. Hope that helps as much as it is helping me right now.

I'm still struggling with the reality that God didn't answer my prayer. But I choose to keep my faith in Him, I still believe in God, and I'm willing to know Him more, I'm willing to have a more intimate relationship with Him, so I can do His will, not my will. And I know that even if I don't get what I want, His grace is sufficient for me. Help me, God. Amen.
@@Caolan-b6r and thats my problem with it. Theres never a straight forward answer. Its always a tautology, its always a riddle. Then we get punished for not doing his will or asking for the so called "correct" things.
What a beautiful message!!! How many times I prayed for healing and nothing happened. I prayed for a miracle and the sick man died. I prayed for a job and it didn't come. I prayed for the restoration of my marriage and it just remained bad. Today I felt as if God had answered this inner question that, as a pastor, I don't share with others. Thank you pastor. I felt the presence of Holy Spirit strongly and I was touched here in my room, watching the message on my cell phone, from here in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). I've been praying for the same thing since 4th grade and I'm now in 11th grade I know God can hear me but I'm still waiting for a response 🤞😐 I hope someday soon he'll answer. I have been forced to face reality. After a job loss and living in poverty, I started praying to the lord for forgiveness of sins and fill me with the holy spirit. I prayed for many months, sometimes many times in a day, to free me from shackles of poverty and financial blessing. Currently situation is worse and could be homeless. Not only did I pray , I have been trying hard to find work all these months. Its appears nothing has worked . I realized that praying could work for some, but obviously not for me . I have to struggle constantly, like I have all my life. One good thing is cant live forever.

I am weak in my faith on prayer as I pray for His will in my life. I tell Him I need Him to show me the Lamp that I need His specific help to pick me up take my hand place me on a path so that He may be pleased w me. But I am feeling unanswered for many years I have surrendered I am living w illness and have been abused and oppressed by ppl who were supposed to love me I did that they my Faith but now I find myself still traumatized and I’m so much physical pain trying to endure strictly on my faith. So I pray for more Grace and understanding and patience. I could use others prayer as well anyone. My grandmother is sick and my father recently got badly injured in the head and since then I have tried my best to stop sinning and I am building a better relationship with god by praying multiple times a day. I pray that god would heal them but I feel like he doesn't listen. This video really opened up my eyes because it made me realize that I pray to God more when I need something from him.

I've been praying harder then I've ever prayed in my life for the last week. I've been praying for my dad to get a job. He hasn't had a job in four months and we've depleted all our savings. We only have enough to survive for this month and that's it. I've been praying for a job and he had a job interview for today and they canceled. It was his only job offer after all these months. I was so looking forward for my dad to get that job and I prayed confidently about it, but nothing happened. That really took a plunge on my faith, but this video helped me to understand God a bit better. Tbh I've forgotten god for a long time, but now that I'm going through a bad situation then I come back. I know were supposed to be with god in the good and the bad, I'm just foolish. I will continue to pray and fight for me and my father, no matter the outcome. This hurts so so so so bad, but I will continue to pray.

What is the Gospel you might ask, well the Gospel means good news and the good news is that Jesus came down from heaven, became a man in the likeness of our sinful flesh (a human) to defeat sin in the flesh by His death on the cross. Which is why the Death of Jesus isn't to be seen as defeat but victory, because it is the only way to be saved and get into heaven.
I have been praying to God for a wife since 2010. It's over 13 years praying, but nothing happens. I am now 33 years old with no children. I begged God so many times in prayers. I have seen other people who don't pray and find good wives except for me. I feel rejected by God and it hurts to my soul to the core till I am spiritually scared. It makes me cry sometimes looking how long I have been asking him for help.
I can relate been praying for 40 plus years for the same thing and have finally given up and I no longer believe.

Thank you for being vulnerable and honest with this beautiful message! I’ve wondered this many times. God miraculously healed me of Narcolepsy and gave me new life. I was overweight, sleeping 20+ hours a day, could barely get out of bed, and when I did I would have cataplectic episodes. I had to quit my job, quit school, and was miserable. But He rescued me from the pit of despair and breathed new life into me. Why He answered my prayer to be healed? I don’t know, but I am forever thankful. Keep praying, we serve a God who listens!!

I have narcolepsy and cateplexy since the age of 8. I am now 52. More than being healed from that I’ve been praying for 7 long years for reconciliation with my ex husband of 24 years and children. I heard the voice of God not too long ago to trust Him. I’m about to homeless again that i have been doubting that I ever heard His voice :(

Update after a year?
Except according to this guy, the only reason that they’re not getting better is because something is wrong with the way that you’re doing it, right?
If everything is possible for someone who believes, and you clearly believe then, we seriously have a problem here if the explanation is supposed to be passing it off to you like it’s your fault when you are clearly asking for a good things, being faithful, and doing it with good intentions. We need a better explanations than some of these cheap answers that are given at the beginning of this.
@@jeffreyvonstetten5852I thought the same at first but he gives two answers. 1) as you mentioned, unforgiveness or some other form of crutch you are dealing with that’s unlike God. And 2) Gods sovereignty. Both answers do not feel good to hear but are answers. Prayer isn’t a request mechanism, it’s simply communication. God’s will, will always be carried out. The more you communicate (pray) the more you understand God or his actions. However, even Jesus didn’t know everything God was going do in his life. Hence him asking why did God forsake him (Matthew 27:46). But by his communication (prayers) he was able to explain it.

But I choose to keep my faith in Him, I still believe in God, and I'm willing to know Him more, I'm willing to have a more intimate relationship with Him, so I can do His will, not my will. And I know that even if I don't get what I want, His grace is sufficient for me. Help me, God. Amen.
But what is gods will that's where I struggle, he doesn't lay it out for it us so how do we know what his will is
@@Caolan-b6r and thats my problem with it. Theres never a straight forward answer. Its always a tautology, its always a riddle. Then we get punished for not doing his will or asking for the so called "correct" things.

What a beautiful message!!! How many times I prayed for healing and nothing happened. I prayed for a miracle and the sick man died. I prayed for a job and it didn't come. I prayed for the restoration of my marriage and it just remained bad. Today I felt as if God had answered this inner question that, as a pastor, I don't share with others. Thank you pastor. I felt the presence of Holy Spirit strongly and I was touched here in my room, watching the message on my cell phone, from here in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). I have been forced to face reality. After a job loss and living in poverty, I started praying to the lord for forgiveness of sins and fill me with the holy spirit. I prayed for many months, sometimes many times in a day, to free me from shackles of poverty and financial blessing. Currently situation is worse and could be homeless. Not only did I pray , I have been trying hard to find work all these months. Its appears nothing has worked . I realized that praying could work for some, but obviously not for me . I have to struggle constantly, like I have all my life. One good thing is cant live forever.

I am weak in my faith on prayer as I pray for His will in my life. I tell Him I need Him to show me the Lamp that I need His specific help to pick me up take my hand place me on a path so that He may be pleased w me. But I am feeling unanswered for many years I have surrendered I am living w illness and have been abused and oppressed by ppl who were supposed to love me I did that they my Faith but now I find myself still traumatized and I’m so much physical pain trying to endure strictly on my faith. So I pray for more Grace and understanding and patience. I could use others prayer as well anyone. Thanks blesses out ‘ thankful for each day of breath of life and a smile when I can get out to the outside world. Divine grace courage restored will I need. Thanks preacher man.

My grandmother is sick and my father recently got badly injured in the head and since then I have tried my best to stop sinning and I am building a better relationship with god by praying multiple times a day. I pray that god would heal them but I feel like he doesn't listen. This video really opened up my eyes because it made me realize that I pray to God more when I need something from him.
Lord we pray in Jesus name that you would help grow a relationship with your child in Jesus name. Fasting and praying is the game changer. The Lord hears you. His thoughts are higher than ours. We just have to be patient. God loves you! God Bless you!
