Quick question: Is there a background meaning to the Chinese characters on the side of the turret. (黒森峰). They translate as "black forest peak/summit/ridge". Great game, and a great scout bot.
Proper use of others views range. Proving it doesn't matter what they are doing, you can still use their view range. Wasn't to difficult to know where everyone was. Always amazes me when there's an AFK at spawn, why TD's drive close when they are headed to the cap. There's already 400m's from the tank sitting there until they blow it up. Using the others view range is a lost art I guess. That Luchs kept people pinned and you knew about where they were. That was you, not the programing.
Kinda miss the time I was completely obsessed with this game, 10 - 12 years ago. I'd stay up all night, getting drunk and shooting tanks, happy as a clam.

Before the low-tier boost in HP, I Had my Pz. IV H, with the derp gun, on Ensk, and killed eight enemies in eight shots. I did have to ram the last one, though.

To be honest, WoWs is a LOT easier for bots... a) It is basically a 2D game, not 3D. b) Correct angeling and exact positioning is a lot less important, bots do a lot better when the main way of tanking is HP-tanking. In WoT you can easily outplay a bot without taking any damage in return or not even getting spotted at all, while in WoWs bot-player-engagements usually still result in a (though fairly one-sided) gunfight. c) In WoWs it is much more difficult to engage enemies one by one due to the fairly open nature of naval combat. That allows bots to actually engage enemies rather than just getting farmed without any hope of doing any damage...
@@Xelianow I guess you have a point when most bots in WoWs do perform better but that is sadly only because most "presumed" humans in that game have 0 clue about angling, positioning and trying to get one on one fights when it mathers. Skilled usage of movement/angling is necessary if you want to play WoWs well!
@@jaquigreenlees They don't really. They just add levels to the 2D plane but it's still a plane. So instead of just the water surface you also have the sky, periscope depth and deep diving but those just add different statuses for the bot to regard not a 3rd dimension.

5:00 that is exactly why I only have about 5 games played in tanks. I spent less than a minute alive in each game dying to a single shot. It was impossible to learn anything at the hands of that buzzsaw so I just watch others play.
Jeez yea I stuck around long enough to learn how to not die to 1 shots, then artillery started targeting me cause of stats or whatever and it was die to 1 shots all over again. This game isn't worth playing. Hasn't been for a decade now

I'm not surprised if the bustle at the back of a Sherman tank can bounce a shell. I recall an instance where Brigadier General Albin Irzyk, at the time a Major in charge of the 8th Tank Battalion, 4th Armored, was ambushed by German armor during the battle of Chaumont. The bustle at the back of his tank bounced an 88mm shell from a Tiger during the German counterattack, the ricochet leaving a hole the crew could see through. Irzyk and his crew survived, and eventually liberated Chaumont.

Yeah... I came back to World of Tanks after 6 years and played some tier 8 and tier 5 matches. I don't think there was a single time I got shot, and it wasn't gold ammo. Remember, only 5% of all ammo fired in WoT is gold ammo! :D (And only 5% of you devs have working brain cells)
Yes it was hilariously depressing that bots even were needed to fill out the teams because when I played you always had full teams of 15 no matter the time of day. But it’s sad this is the state of a game I used to just love. And what’s depressing from MY point of view is that I’ve not managed to find a similar game I want to play the same way I played WOT. No I’ll stop you all right there; no I don’t much care for war thunder though I don’t know what bugs me about it so much.

I do like to hear any audio in this dilapidated game, Jingles, rather than your having to supply growling sounds again? Whenever I play Co-op in botes, I always start Battle Chat with: "Greetings Humans!"
They can leave the bots without XP scores so they stay at the bottom of the list, but I think they should show how much spotting and damage they got on their detail pages.
First off, I've never seen bots in a tier 5 match. It makes sense now why WG has been threatening to merge a lot of servers across the world. Secondly, our hero hero here is one lucky bugger when that Type hit him in the backside of the turret and not in the side. Even though that tank is garbage, even it has enough pen at 500m for Sherman's side armor.
There are times in WoWs when the Bots do better than actual players, so don't be quick to disregard the bots. Hell, there are times I prefer having bot teammates in WoWs than actual players.
Great content, again as we're used from you Jingles! I might be the only one, but I do think in this video the sound of the game is a tiny bit too loud compared to your voice, it makes it a bit hard to hear you above the sound of the engines, every now and then .
I love that WG is hiding the results for the bots so they don't hurt the players' feelings. IIRC they don't do that in WoWS and yes, bots sometimes do better than players.

I don't think M4A1's were fitted with the 105mm howitzer, Chrysler Corporation was the sole manufacturer of 105mm armed M4 mediums, and they used M4 or M4A3 tanks only.
The Polish and Canadians had M4s with 105mm, as well as some British Shermans. For the US, some M4A1 tanks had 105mm M4 howitzers, known as the M4 (105) variant.
Isn't it a bit dodgy that there is no Luchs on the winning side in the battle results screen??? Or Type 95 on the enemy team??? Since when have bots been removed from the battle results?
sadly, a significant number of teams I've been on recently could have probably done better if several of the human players had been replaced with these wargaming bots
it looks like the marks of excellence are not the same as on the EU server. we get stars on the barrel for american tanks... or is this also a replay bug?

Nope. The player is using a Girls und Panzer camo, and that changes the way the marks of excellence are showed. I have a Hellcat (or a Jackson - it's a tier 6 american TD) that my three marks of excellence are... three hearts. WG logic. Forget it.

Well, WG should make gold ammo standard and then make better gold ammo to replace the old one likes the standard pen is 100 and the gold has 150 pen, with my suggestion the standard pen will be 150 and the gold will be 225, so with this more whales should be attracted including the old one. Edit: Oh yes, the new gold should deal more damage too.
WG should make the RnG mechanics +-5℅, e.g. dmg bring +-5℅ of the avg dmg, pen should be +-5℅ of the avg pen, accuracy should be really improved, and Prem ammo should be a 50℅ reduction to dmg. This will improve the gun handling, and make Prem ammo do less dmg making an incentive to use standard ammo for pen and dmg. Prem ammo will only have high pen but extremely low dmg. Less incentive to use Prem ammo. But I'm asking for the moon on a stick, WG will never change anything for better.

Bot results are shown on the Asian server, and yes, they often significantly better than many of the semi-human players.

Bots in WOWS were nerfed soon after being introduced because they were too good.

The KV-220-2 is the KV-220 hull with a KV-1 turret. The Soviets swapped the turrets right before the factory got overrun so that the hull could fight.
6:30 that’s a habit I get from playing since 2014. If I see a KV220 on the enemy team, I type that at the start of the match

M4 sherman is fun with the derp gun but the T6 medium at tier 4 gets the exactly same gun and is significantly more fun

I tried but couldn't get into tanks on War Thunder. Planes was fun for a while in my Italian fighters, but that lost its charm after awhile as well.

One of the main reasons I stopped playing WoW's was because of the bots were better than most of what's left of the player base.

The way the new auto cannons work is that the gold rounds do less damage, so it’s a trade off of more pen for less damage
