- The Ancient Wonders of Northumberland series will show you northumberland like its never been seen before.
Episode 2:
Today I'll be exploring bronze age ruins in the moors of Old Bewick and Blawearie and the mythical standing stones of Duddo.
I love our county, full of history. Also, bloody windy day!
I used to live at Old Bewick a while back. There's an old iron age fort alongside a WW2 pillbox on the outcrop above Old Bewick. Nearly stood on a badger there once. The church is always open as well, & has a green man carved into the stone above the altar
Like your videos a lot, the beautiful rough nature from Northumberland, and your enthousiasm and interesting history tellings, big fat like 👍🏻

episode 3 and 4 will be up within the month, it was hard shooting episode 2 the areas are really remote and inhospitable but i hope i done the area justice.
