@@brianathern9154 just watching the fight, seeing that big fish jump and knowing how long and hard he's worked to find a fish like this was more than enough for me!
Always enjoy your videos but curious about your floats. Are you floating ramp to ramp or are you floating down and using trolling motor to go back to original ramp. If you are motoring back are those shoals hard to drag back over?
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoy the videos! No, we go ramp to ramp on this river and shuttle our kayaks. I use the trolling motor to get through the slower sections or to go back up river and fish a good section over. It gives me a lot more fishing time instead of paddling time, plus having a heart condition it helps take the strain off when having to fight the wind on some days. I used to drag up up over shoals on my skinny water river but my wife shuttles us when we get to fish it. it's been too low to float for a couple months now.
What an awesome fish James! Congrats. I wish I was there to witness it but sure am glad Jody got some good video. Nice fishing guys!
@OlTommyBoy I heard him yell, "I do know if I can get it in, I can't do anything with it!

Solid day Jody. Did you pick up an assist for cheering James onto landing that giant? Fabulous
