The transition has started in our local rivers as the Smallmouth Bass are moving out of the shoals and into the deeper pools. They getting more aggressive and chasing minnows trying to fatten up for the long slow, cold water months. what's the float time from Peppers Ferry to Whitethorn ramp?
@FScammell3 a lot has to do with the amount of water flowing and how fast you fish. It usually takes us about 10 hours but we fish it slow.

Just wait until the next video where it gets a 20" smallmouth, I think they are eating it right now better than OLD Pearl. Looking forward to seeing the new paint shop and lures that will be coming out of it! It's strange we really never gave the Rusty Shad a good workout before this year, you just never know what those smallmouth will want on any given day!

Seems reasonable if you are in a southern state.. I was able to fish the Milwaukee this year until November 24th and last year until Dec 17th.

The Cooler water seems to bring out their colors more. We've caught some beautiful colored fish this Fall.
That first one was a “chunk!” Not too long but nice one.

Great video sir thank you for sharing I just sub today been following kayak tournament anglers fishing lakes love it! But just this last month have seen an amazing content of anglers fishing f from rivers or creeks hunting largemouth bass but also smallmouth bass! I’m hooked and starting next year will be learning all about this! Will be watching older video and learning and commenting thank you tight lines take care and God bless!
