How to Connect PS4 Controller Back to PS4 After iOS Device

- This video shows how to connect the PS4 controller back to the PS4 after it has been connected to a iOS device, this is a very easy to follow video with all steps explained.
Hope this helps everyone trying to connect the controller back to the PS4.

Just an FYI, anyone having issues with it flashing after doing these steps, try a different USB. That's what was causing my issues, even though the USB was recognizing and charging the PS4 controller, it still wouldn't connect. Changing my USB fixed the issue. Hope this helps someone

In case you’re wondering, I had to try 4 different cables before one finally worked. I almost gave up on my console thinking it was time to retire. I let it sit for 4 months before trying again and thankfully it worked. I literally had to go to my parents house to dig for more cables because I didn’t have enough. Thank God
If this doesn't work, go into settings on your ps4 ( if you have a second controller) go to devices, go to Bluetooth devices, disconnect all the dualshock 4 controllers except the one with the green flash, then hold share button and ps button, then the controller should show up in the list of Bluetooth devices,
Just tried this and it worked after having no 2nd controller for 2 months.

Mine turns yellow then turns off when I plug it in. Then when I press the PS button it starts flashing again.
@Luvsrumi I'm not sure if you still need this information but this is a case of what I'll call overcharge just reconnect your controller to a device and play on it till the controller runs out of battery then it'll charge and you can reonnect

Hey Mia, if you are following all the steps the only other thing it could be is that the controller needs to be fully charged. Hope that helps you out. 🤞

I'm fucking PISSED! I CONNECT my controller to my phone to mess around for 3 seconds and not I can't get back to the ps4. I tried the rest trick like 20 times. Mabry my cable is too crappy cuz it only chargers.
@@miltonbuu there should be something about connecting to mobile devices. Mines also doesn't work after I connected to my mobile phone (android)

@@twiiqxx4913 have you tried fully reseting your controller? Turn ur ps4 controller around and next to the L2 theres a tiny hole, use a needle or smthng and poke it for a while until it flashes the yellow light i think (do this while charging ofc)

This is the exacly way to do it , if it doesnt work u need to find a charger , it will be better if u buy an online one for ps4 , becouse lot of chargers and only for charge the battery,

Great vid. But my next question is, can you now switch between the ps4 and the ios device? When i turn on the DS4 it automatically starts the PS4 and i cant switch it to the ios device, not even by connecting it manually from the ios device. Do I have to disconnect it again from the PS4? I only have one DS4 unfortunately.

If anyone is still having trouble with your ps4 controller try the cord that came with your ps4 i tried with 4 of my cords nothing happened but I used my original cord the one that came with it and it worked so try this hope it helps

My problem is is when I do it the light turns on but the PS4 screen isn’t moving and then when I take out the charger it just turns off
I don't get why you need the cable at all though, why isn't it enough to just disconnect controller from phone or turn off phone blue tooth, or unpair even, and then the controller should return to the PS by itself. I'm saying what it should be like, I know it isn't hence this issue. I'm asking why doesn't it go back to the PS by itself, that seems logical.

I know this was a year ago so you might not respond but if anyone could help me answer this question that will be great, so basically I do everything he’s doing up untill when he clicks the PS4 button and it connects to the PS4, like my charger works and it shows the orange light and then shows it’s not in just like how his does and then when I click the PS4 button it just does white flashes

My brother connected the ps4 controller to his iPhone and it wouldn't connect back to the ps4 I tried everything! I was about to give up until I figured I would try using another USB cord didnt figure it would help but I will be damned if it didn't connect! Hope I could be of help.

The best thing to do mate is just to buy a new Controlla I just bought one off Amazon learned how to connect it with a brand new dual shock and I was as good as an apple 🥧🇦🇺.
