Thanks for the detailed video but this isn’t much of an update since the patch notes were released a while ago and we don’t have any new methods for acquisition for max levels other than cantrips chests or retriever talents. Both methods are grindy. I would’ve hoped they would release better ways to acquire for max levels by now like through the pve hard mode or max level bosses we can farm. Also, can we see cantrips chests guides? Where are these chests located in DS? Are they only in DS or other worlds too that are lower level or higher level? Sure it’s rank 6 spells but is it a mixed assortment or only 1 type (ex. elemental only or spirit school only) & the quantity of those. Many unanswered questions remain with cantrips chests I feel.

sadly the pet talent costs too much happiness for "unfunded" and people who hate gardening.

All you need is to farm a gauntlet a bunch of times, train 7 pets to mega, train a specific pet, and farm a specific dungeon, that if you didn’t follow the community you’d have no idea how to do this. Simple
And to train pets to mega, realistically you need to get mega snacks which means you gotta either dish out $$$ for emp and cp seeds or farm troubled warriors for ages.
seems like a bad choice of design

oyotami the defiler in village of sorrow is pretty good for spirit spellements, drops 8 each kill and respawns instantly, also there are no minions and his health isnt too high
Finally, a guide that talks about the bosses that drop Spellements and not just the Retriever Talents/Cantrip Chests!
Been playing wiz since it came out and I’m a 1st age warlord but like I’m grown the game been out for over 10 years..I don’t have time to train pets while farming chest and doing sooo much just for a EVEN PvP battle…Not a fan tbh

I completely feel you. I got one account with maxes and one with low levels, and its so much easier to just farm when you have a low level.
If only these grinds were passive, like just logging in daily or just doing any pve battle
the easier way is doing low lvl dungeon; khai Amanthe drops spellements every fight, additionally spellements can be traded between characters
Man they need to lower the requirements to unlock the talent,I literally have to train 7 fire pets to mega just to get it and that's if I get lucky lmao

Retriever talents are a legit pain in the butt like its just not for me. It is way way too tedious. Hope theres more ways to get spellements in a later update.
I feel like they made farming spellements easier for low levels so new players would be more inclined to cave in and buy membership, and not gonna lie I'm kinda tempted now
Kinda weird how kingsisle has these cutoff levels for different things you can do in game like spellements and pvp participation

If you are someone like me who never trained pets. This will either take a large sum of money or a few months of straight grinding
Pets arent that hard pick a pet in the kiosk of the stats you want hatch with the body you want. Look into pet body number and hatch with a pet that has a higher body number the body you want. Train and hatchbiver and over.
For example Glacier Dragon (body 9) with Charlossous (body 10) for a better chance at Glacier Dragon egg with fire stats from Charlossus

Just wanna say that the Spirit Retriever tokens also drop from the time butterfly in the doomsday krok gauntlet.

I don't have any spirit schools low enough... All I really want is spirit spellements

What happens if you're over leveled? My balance is lvl 60+ but main quest is in dragonspyre
Update: i am able to farm jade oni for spellements despite being over levelled
you should still be able to farm the dragonspyre bosses!
Anybody coming on here with the same question I had and couldn’t find an answer if you bought a level 50 elixir yes this will work BUT you have to defeat the Jade oni for the badge back in mooshu to be able to farm the spellements in dragonspyre!
I recently came back to W101 because fo the free week and I just finished celestia before finding out about spellments. I really dont see the reason that celestia is the highest level you can be to farm from bosses. It should be a problem if its like "You can farm in azteca but you can only get level 6 spellments" and then I dont see the issue

Apparently you can ALSO farm spellements if you're one world behind the world. For example I had someone in mooshu farming dragonspyre spellements
he probably had the Oni slayer badge for killing jade oni
I can't believe there's no way to farm spellements as a high level wizard. I think that's such terrible game design.

Is there a level cap for farming dragonspyre or is it just "Don't start Zafaria"? Like can I be level 60 farming or do I have to be like 50 or below? Anyways thank you for the video, very helpful:)
if you're a level 60 in celestia, you can farm dragonspyre for spellements!
I haven’t watched the video yet but to my knowledge it’s badge locked not quest line or level locked. For example to farm spellements in moo shu you need the “mastermind” badge from defeating meowiarty. No lvl or quest is required
You can do the same with previous worlds . I myself a level 46 in mooshu I am farming spellements in marleybone

Hey sauce, I actually made multiple elemental retriever pets but now I found out that i have to unlock them each time. Is there an easier way to unlock the talent if you already unlocked it already?
one you do unlock it, pets that you hatch from that unlocked pet will come with it unlocked!

No
For spiritual/elemental retriever reagents for example? Nope, you can farm with a noob to get the reagents faster.
Where are the chests located in DS?
Level 40 isn't a low level. Man, I wanted to know if there are methods for lower than low levels.
yeah farm any of the bosses in wizard city or krok if you are 1-20

People keep saying "get spirit retriever" but that doesn't seem to even exist on the wiki. Are you sure that's what it is called?
The wiki is just outdated currently, it will show you once the talent is trained

@@MrMiraculon Go to the kiosk and just look at leafwing pets. For some reason, search by talent says no pets exist, but if you just double click on leafwings and look through them, several of them have the spirit retriever talent manifested.
Question what about spellements for loremaster spells like wintermoon?
I can confirm lamemaster still drops those spellaments!

I'm trying to farm sea lord and its not dropping spellements. I'm a lvl 50 wizard in celestial quest line. Not sure what's wrong. Would it be because I bought the lvl 50 potion?
Try going and fighting Jade Oni in mooshu
currently, if you bought the level 50 potion it doesn't come with all the badges unlocked. To farm dragonspyre for spellements, you need to get the badge from defeating the jade oni. Once you defeat the jade oni, you should be good to go!

No. The Retriever Talents are *only* for getting them from regular chests.
No idea why you werem't getting any Spellements from Dragonspyre, though.

All are from the Doomsday Krok Gauntlet and pack.
However, it is best to go to the pet kiosk and search elemental retriever and hatch there.

Bank works
All spellements act like reagents so they can be shared in the shared bank. Double reagent member benefit will not work on spellements though.
*IN MY OPINION* is spellement spell upgrades are useless unless you PvP. PvE is too easy.
Probably gonna be an aim once they fully implement all spellement ideas, to have future worlds and dungeons revolve mechanics around spellement type things, aka multiple things in 1 turn as spellements seem to do
Not exactly useless. For example, the damage paths give improved damage but they also give improved accuracy making the low level wiz that have max spellements more damage and less chance to fizzle.
That’s cap I unlocked element retriever and I only have it on one pet and I have to unlock it on the rest why is that?
try hatching out pets from your unlocked pet!

@@realfunnydoge3434 Each spellement in the game can be traded via the shared bank in your house or dorm. Sole exception are shadow pip spellements which are exclusive to your school.

sorry about that! One tip I suggest is opening your map and the bosses should pop up for you as long as you've been through the areas. So for example, if you wanna farm Zarathax for balance spellements, you can go into the tower archives and open your map to see where he is

I didn't brother to see the full video and wanted to just say that depending on what world you farm in you will get a certain rank spellement, example: if you farm in deagonspyre you will get from ranks 1-6, in mooshue 1-5, in marleybone 1-4 etc

@@nycoo2499 thats exactly the point, spellements in a way still locked behind paywall worlds , u basically are still forced to either have membership , or crowns to buy a world of first arc to access spellement drops,
I mean they could at least move the paywall up to marlybone or mooshu, giving true f2p players a chance to farm for things too.
