Every time I hear this rendition to my National Anthem, I just completely fall apart. I absolutely LOVE MY COUNTRY!!❤️
So well said!!! God Bless America!! I also fell apart
100% SAME, Angela!!!
SAME!
God bless our amazing country.
I love this rendition. And I’m Canadian but I love America.
I'm an American and I get emotional every time I hear the national anthem. Even more now than ever. Chris Stapleton did probably one of the best renditions. Please pray for the United States. We need it now more than ever
Amen!!!
Amen
Yes he did. Don't forget about girl Whitney though.
Amen to that. God save our country
Chris singing that never gets old. Even after 30 or 40 times hearing it I still get goosebumps.
Thankyou for being so respectful guys as a fan of yours and as an American it just touches me deeply when you care enuff to show respect to your American subscribers the way you do. It's hard to explain American Patriotism really...it's deeply layered in pain, loss and triumph. Hats of to you Cousins across the pond may our connection never cease on meaning , value and respect for each other.
I explain it that I understand the sacrifices that were made by those that came first. They were amazing men among men. So strong with wisdom and God with them. The amount of gratitude I have for them is immeasurable. Add to that the sacrifices of all who have fought for us all. There can be no forgetting or discounting that. Thank God for this great gift 🇺🇸 long may it wave 🙏🇺🇸❤️
Beautifully said…
God bless ❤️
It was also very respectful that they didn't stop the song in the middle.
Wow! Tina, you really explained things very well: I felt that deep in my soul. I would do almost anything for my Country, my internal patriotism goes deep as does my history. One of my descendants came over on the Mayflower. My family is American, but I have English roots obviously. I'm so proud that we've kept these inseparable links towards the United Kingdom. We have together vanquished Nazi Germany twice and will prevail against the Adolph Putin.
This is hands down the best rendition of our National Anthem ever!!! God Bless America 🇺🇸 🇺🇲🇺🇲
Yes it is
It is definitely a hand to hand combat with Whitney Houston 🙌🏻
@@MorganMarie1agreed 💯
Lol no it doesn't...its nice but nothing compared to Whitney Houston
As a Canadian, I think Chris just crushed it. That was the most beautiful, heartfelt, emotional rendition I have ever heard of The Star Spangled Banner.
Just an FYI, you are the best, most supportive, neighbors anyone could ask for. Glad you are up there!
I have to agree with you, I've always regarded Whitney Huston's the best but i think chris got her beat.
As an American who sometimes get teared up hearing the National Anthem, the one that always gets me was when the Canadians sang it at a hockey game when the mic had technical difficulties.
Maple Leaves/Predator game.
I saw that, and it was amazing! Love our Canadian neighbors!❤
Very, very classy of them!❤ 🇺🇸 🇨🇦
I saw that game. That was amazing ❤
He has so much emotion in his voice, he's just an amazing singer..❤
I love the description another woman said about this version: Chris Stapleton gave us the sittin' on the back porch version of our national anthem. 😊 It sounds like he's just singing to his friends and family telling a story of a incredible battle. I love how the lyrics are the highlight of his version - there isn't the distraction of cymbals crashing and loud brass instruments- you can see the scenes as he sings the words. Just beautiful and so very powerful.
I’m Canadian and I’ve always loved the U.S anthem, this was above and beyond!! I also loved the all female flyby!! ❤️🇨🇦
I’m an American and I’ve always loved the Canadian anthem. Much love. :)
And we love our Canadian neighbors and friends North of the borders.❤
Thank you for your heartfelt reaction to our Nation Anthem. 🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧
I am 48 years old. And for 48 years, I, without fail, start getting emotional and have to wipe the tears away when the line "and the rockets red glare...." gets sung.
Greatest country to ever exist. God Bless the United States of America.
Agreed brother
Makes me happy to see emotion from players aside from the game. That they feel the same pride that I do. Great rendition of the anthem. I’m deployed and couldn’t watch the game but heard people talk about it. It brought a tear to my eye
Thank you for you service Sir
Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
They where told to care, these fuckers had ZERO issue disrespecting said anthem for 5 years.
Thank you for your sacrifice. God bless you and your family
I never in my life have ever missed the national anthem given the opportunity to hear it. My love for my country bursts through with this rendition. No one has ever sung my national anthem better. Whitney was number one until this. The emotions you could clearly see on the players faces and the tears from Philly's coach make me proud that I served. Make me see that, the time, the blood, the sweat and the tears I shed for my country are all well with it. I admit I was a little broken hearted when Americans started kneeling in protest during the anthem and this completely mended those broken pieces.
Might be the most perfect performance ever given of any song ever performed. He did it so heart string pulling perfect. I don't understand how any American isn't moved to tears by this performance. It kills me and I've watched it 100 times..... WoW !!!
Watching the tears rolling down the coaches face made my waterworks start. I can't imagine all of the emotions going through those players and coaches just knowing that they'd made it to the pinnacle of their sport, and top it off with the singing of the anthem like that, it's no wonder the whole stadium wasn't crying like babies. Just beautiful! I usually prefer it sung traditionally, and you just can't beat Whitney's version if you appreciate the tradition. I hate it when people add runs to it or try to modernize it and make it sound new and hip. It is so steeped in our history that singing it any other way than it was originally composed always seems almost sacrilegious to me. But even though this was not sung traditionally, it was very close, and boy was it something special. He certainly made this Merican proud.
I cry every time I hear The Anthem. This rendition by Chris Stapleton reached down into my soul. What an awesome performance.
Chris has lots of blues influence which is very soulful. Players and coaches were already emotional because it's the SB which is the dream of so many people to perform at. Adding an emotional national anthem on top of that probably made it tough to hold back tears
Chris did awesome job! He made it about our flag and country, with total respect and dignity. He didn't make it about himself and his vocal ability. He doesn't have to. He has nothing to prove. I greatly appreciate him for singing our anthem as it was meant to be sung. Thank yall for your beautiful, respectful reaction! We love yall across the pond!
It's a very moving anthem especially when you know the meaning behind it. It's really very humbling to see people from other countries react the way I do every time I hear it.
I was fortunate enough to win tickets to the Super Bowl.. I can honestly say this rendition had myself and so many others in the stadium in tears…
Thanks guys that was great and Millie you are adorable. Please stay the way you two are. God bless keep safe.
Total respect to you both, Seeing Millie get emotional made me emotional as well
The anthem brings tears every time.. but this rendition is beautiful. So proud to live in a place where grown men cry for how blessed they feel to be there.
Thank you, Millie, for for showing your feelings about our National Anthem.
Chris is a national treasure. The fact that so many people over seas shed more tears at this perfomance than U.S. citizens hurts me to the core. This song stands for our country and people don't even stand for it anymore!!!
I remember a time when the colors are raised everyone would stand, remove their hats and place their hand over their heart!!! I love your comment!
As a military vet's wife, I hold back tears! This was amazing!
I honestly believe I was the luckiest person to hear this anthem. I've recently discovered Chris Stapleton....so I know enough to be excited that hes performing but also know not enough to still be blown away. I couldn't have timed discovering Chris Stapleton any better. I had this on non stop for 3 days.
Just a reminder to our former foes. This song was written as your navy was trying to destroy Fort McHenry. Under incredible odds, the flag remained flying. A symbol of ALL our people. Thank you for watching this and reacting.
Yep. I live about 6 miles from there. There are a few parks and signs around to remind us of the battles.
Thank you for saying that. Our younger generation is completely either trying to erase our history, or they are just not being taught history. That needs to change. I love the story you were referring to, how they discovered it was the bodies of dead Patriots who held up that flag and gave us the country we know and love today. It's not perfect, but the United States is the greatest country in Earth. I love my country. God Bless America and all of it's citizens, no matter your color, religion or anything else they try to use to keep us apart.
I think that after our staunchest allies rolled into Afganistan and Iraq (twice!) with us- we can drop all the "former foes" gibberish. That's ancient history now. We and the Brits are truly 'brother nations' on this earth. There are no other 2 countries on this planet more inter-twined in culture, outlook, and interest!
Let's Gooooo America
Let's take it back 2024 !!!!!
Agree, no need for that. The Brits are our brothers and sisters across the pond. 🇺🇸 🇬🇧
It is an excellent rendition. Chris was fantastic and between Philadelphia's coach and Millie crying, I teared up a bit too. Kind of flattering that people from other countries can still appreciate our fairly unique anthem.
You two are adorable, sending love from the USA 🇺🇸 ❤
I’m 60 years old and this is the best version I’ve ever heard.
Good to see you Brits from across the pond. I'm glad that you enjoyed this rendition of OUR National Anthem. God Bless us all.
This is the only version of the Anthem that I have ever cried over. Many have given me goose bumps. But this one version reached into my soul.
U.S. National anthem means a lot to most of us Americans, very emotional. Thanks for giving it respect. 🤜🤛
I rate it as the best version I heard after 100s of times. Whitney had the best for years , but chiris took it to a whole new level.
I went to one of Chris Stapletons shows a few years ago in PA (US) and he is even better live than on tv. I’ve been lucky enough to attend numerous concerts of various artists and it was hands down one of my all time favorites! I will say though, I am a country music fan so that probably helps lol
hello, how are you doing how long have you been a fan of mine?
Agreed. I'm merely "country curious" and heard Chris at Pilgrimage last fall. Clearly the best live performance I've ever witnessed, and I'm an old guy. I remember asking my wife at the end of "I Was Wrong" what I just heard.
@@markwilliamson1277 yes I went with my best friend and when I got home I told my husband he was the best live performer I’d ever seen. I saw him in Burgettstown.
You really need to listen to Chris Stapleton. He is amazing.
You two are priceless! I'm always touched to see how much you care about things. As an American I thank you for your appreciation for my country.
Thank you sweetheart. We all were either crying or fighting to hold em back. Our country needed that moment.
My third viewing of reactors watching this video today and I've cried each time. As a veteran I cannot sing the song without breaking up and I get teary eyes every time I hear it no matter how many thousands of times I have already heard it. I think even more telling is that as a kid growing up I could hardly make it through the song without getting watery eyes.
Love this version of the National Anthem. I have always had a special place in my heart for this song and my country. I lived in Germany for a year and a half right after getting out of the service and was so happy when I got back home. As a US Air Force vet, I have always thought that traveling overseas gives a person a special appreciation for this country and what it stands for. It is an amazing song with special meaning for us all. Loved her reaction also.
Thank you for your service, CAC. 💙
I cried when I first heard this national Anthem
me too...
I cry EVERY time!😊
Me too, and I thought I was a man 😅
You should definitely do Tennessee Whiskey as well as many other Chris Stapleton songs. The live versions are the best. His wife Morgane sings with him and she also has an amazing voice!
I love so much the respect y’all give our nation’s anthem. Watching you, and others like the NZ Family, reconnects me to the roots and passion and purpose behind it. As the daughter of a Marine, with uncles, grandpas and cousins who have served and a friend who died in Afghanistan many years ago- I cry, have chills and just felt like saying, thank you.
Stapleton's amazing at what he does. Glad to see those surface sailors showing the colors and all, as well. Our carriers are the pride of the fleet, and they show it!
Thank you for this! This is one of my favorites for sure. The texture in his voice. The grit...it makes me feel the sacrifice men and women have given for this country. In peace and in war, the members of the military, all of them who do their duty, are the reasons why we are free.
Millie is such an American girl at heart! I love this rendition of our National Anthem. Long time watcher, first time commenter. Love y’all’s videos. From Memphis, Tennessee!
As a retired U.S. Air Force serviceman, what makes me tear-up even more, is the fact that the flyover was performed by an all-female team of Navy aviators. EXCELLENT SHOW, LADIES ..... YOU DONE US PROUD!
Yes! I cry more often just from the anthem in a stadium. When I found out the fly over was all women I ugly cried. I absolutely support and love all our military but this was special for so many reasons
Thank you Chris an amazing rendition, cried my eyes out. God Bless this Great Country
It shows now how much you respect our constant fight for freedom. You are so sweet Millie. Love you guys.
Little subtle details during the performance. Every player is swaying back and forth and just feeling it. Then when the entire crowd sings "braaaaave" is just another level. This made our entire country feel something we haven't felt in a LONG time. Thank you Chris.
Wasn't expecting to cry on Wednesday afternoon. Love Chris Stapleton! Love USA! 💜 🇺🇸
Please react to more Chris Stapleton besides TN Whiskey. Everything that Chris does makes a hit & is always great. What a Talent!!!
I cried too, Millie. 🇺🇸
I have watched our national anthem performed countless times at sporting events, etc. over the years. And Stapleton's performance, by far, is the most incredible. No grandstanding, no weird unique rendition, just a decent, humble man showing his love for our country in the most beautifully simple, softly spoken, and dignified way I have ever seen on one of the world's largest stages.
Totally agree🤩................no hoopla..............just amazing soul.
Magnificent. Right up there with Whitney. So much soul, country. so American.
Better than Whitney! She lip-synced her version, Chris is real!
@@pinky2245 Hers is real too, just not live, I mean she did sing it. lol
@@pinky2245 : She didn't lip sync it she sang it live.
Honestly, I think he de-throned Whitney.
Thank you so much for you appreciation of our beautiful anthem. It touches me like this always. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks for making me cry. Your tears come not from a British heart, but from the heart of an American!
I recently watched a video explaining the meaning behind your anthem. Brings a whole new meaning to it. Great anthem and great rendition. God bless you guys from a UK vet.
Chris Stapleton can bring out emotions like that out of nowhere! I cried as well, especially when the eagles coach started to cry!
When Nick was tearing up, I cried even more!
God Bless America!🇺🇸 Chris’s rendition is one of my favorites! Appreciate the respect you give to our Anthem! It means everything to us! #militarymom
This rendition of the American national anthem gets me every time, love Chris Stapleton so much! The soul master killed it beautifully 💪🏾👊🏾👏🏾
The incredible voice of Mr Chris Stapleton 🥰
Thank you for your review on our National Anthem. We like our country and it’s a privilege to see others appreciate some of our traditions.🇺🇸😊
I’m only now getting around to seeing this video, but it’s heartening to see people from outside the States appreciating our beautiful anthem. May the US and the UK forever stand together as friends and allies, a beacon of democracy and peace. God bless America! 🇺🇸 God save the King! 🇬🇧
Aww. Millie was impacted. This slow version, as they say, took us to church. Your baby loved it.
As an American, I get chills every time I hear that song.
Yay!! Im so glad you reacted to it 😊
Did you notice that the flyover at the end was all women? Millie, what an awesome genuine reaction! You're great! We could use more people like you here in Chicago! :)
Love Chris and his Singing!!
This was the first time I cried hearing our anthem. It was the best
When I was younger, my father lived in Watlington, Oxfordshire. He used to invite all his friends to his house to celebrate July 4th :D
Well done !
There hasn’t been a good national anthem singer like this in a long time man, this one is definitely in the books
Thank you for liking and reacting to our national anthem. It’s very close to us and I think it’s absolutely awesome that it meant something to you as well. Respect and love from your brothers and sisters across the pond. 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 ❤
First time in history it was an all women’s pilot crew for the fly over! So an amazing!
PURE SOUL. Love it. Thank you.
I love my country and I love Chris Stapleton. As a woman, I don't know why it really hits my heart so hard to see man cry.
The National Anthem has always made me emotional since I was a child. It hits me even more now. I'm a spouse of an Army Veteran, one of my son's (I have 5) is in the military and one is about to join. I am so thankful for those willing to sacrifice for us and our country. 🥰
hello how are you doing, how long have you been a fan of mine
He gives so much tears when he sings Great Reaction 👍🙏👣
He did a hell of a job with this, should just have him do it every year
Thank you for showing respect to our National Anthem. It breaks my heart that America has lost it's glory momentarily but, I could feel the change coming Hallelujah ❤❤🙏🙏
I’m not a country fan but this was so much more meaningful than those who are technically perfect when they sing it. He did a great job of arranging to suit his range.
Would definitely love to see you react to Tennessee Whiskey
They should do it as a double feature with a song of his james hasn't heard
Chris Stapleton is awesome! Everything he sings is good. Millie should definitely react to him! Chris is best live. Aside from Tennessee Whisky, try “I was wrong” at Austin City Limits, or “cold” at the CMA awards.
You have pure hearts, please never change.
Aren't they adorable!
Chris Stapleton #1 in my book he was so crisp and clear you heard every word
hello, how are you doing how long have you been a fan of mine?
Some of my favorite SB anthem performers are country singers (Luke Bryan, Eric Church), and Chris did not disappoint. He's one of the best country artists of this generation.
Kentucky's own Chris Stapleton. Well done, brother.
The two of you are so sweet and we Americans appreciate you.
It is such a moving song... then Chris sings it and I am in tears. Please do some Chris Stapleton reactions... his bluesy voice is, in my opinion, one of the absolute best I've ever heard!
Chris Stapleton sang his national anthem so beautifully that it made people from other countries cry.
Deeply grateful that you cared to watch that…
It definitely touched me the same way 💜 hello from Ohio!
He brought gown men to tears!!! He did an amazing job! I'm so damn proud to be an American!!!!
Chris is from my part of Eastern Kentucky. He is great signer plus he does a lot for our community most don't know about
Oh bless her i felt the same. Such amazing moment to see ❤❤
So glad y'all reacted to this ❤️
Honey I bawled like a baby when the coach had tears running down his cheeks too and I just got teary rewatching it with you! Omg!
Why have I not seen this reaction ‘til now!
Agh… me too Millie! Me too! 😭😭🤧 Just seeing you cry just made me cry. It was such a beautiful rendition of this song. Chris Stapleton is so good at putting his own twist and it comes out so awesome!!
I noticed this song has become so much more emotional for so many people around the world, now that they understand why our anthem means so much to America and it's people. I saw the video where you learned why it means so much to us.
This is Awesome!❤️🤍💙 Also, an All WOMEN Fly Over (Girl Power, baby!!) & our Chiefs won SB LVII!!❤️💛
