My wife has a 2018 Q7 / Air ride. I have NO problems taking it on passes and any easy off road situations. Audi has sorted their chassis and Quattro very well IMO. Great cars.

If you want to use launch control, follow these steps: Press and hold both the brake and accelerator pedals for a couple of seconds. Observe the speedometer: it will flash, indicating that the system is ready.Be patient and avoid rushing through the process. Regarding the adaptive cruise control, it does indeed have steering capability (at least in Europe). To activate it, simply press the button located on top of the direction indicator. It actually uses the predictive driving navigation to help the steering.
Great review that shows what it can do and what it will never be asked to do . Love Audi and the interior is as awesome as they done for years . Fun watch !

That may be so, but for the price and reputation of Audi "Quattro," it should certainly be able to deliver on all fronts. This is why the test is important.

Not to be pedantic, but at 2:34 you showed the gasoline powered SQ8, *not* the SQ8 e-tron. And not only that, that SQ8 you showed was the pre-refresh 2023 model, and not the updated 2024 model.

Lmao this is sad to see. I took an gen 1 q5 to an offroad park doing the easy obstacles and it was shockingly good. Between the torsen center diff and brake traction control it would have way more easlly made it over most of the cross axle obstacles.
The current EV world is...let's face it, a complete waste of time and money. This is an 80K novelty with an already outdated charge port. Unless you live to feel better about yourself due to your "earth choices", this is in no way practical. But you feeeeeeeeel good about yourself.
Ryan, how does Audi stand out from Tesla even tho it doesn’t lane center itself, well Audi doesn’t explode into flames. I don’t really care for Audi interior. And is the electric Audi a real Quattro system? I miss the old system.
I've tested an Audi with those touch screen controls for climate etc. - absolutely bad. They work, albeit slowly, but they distract you from the road, get dirty and much of it could be done with a few knobs with buttons in their centers - so you can use them while driving AND looking at the road (you can't reach down in the dark and feel which control is which, you have to look away from the road !!! UNACCEPTABLE ). I'm 10 minutes into your video and you're still showing electronics (gimmicks). Let's just drive !!!! I'm not a Luddite - electronics are great, but not when they're a distraction - like a cell phone and dinner ! Leave it alone !

88K.. no way. There a lot better vehicles out there for that kind of money. Further, 285 mile range.. I have that on a half talk of gas and don’t need to wait a half hour to charge on a mountain trail. Oh wait….

Would've been more fun if this was the actual Q8. They facelifted recently so maybe you'll be able to get one soon, hopefully.

I heavily doubt anyone who spends nearly $100,000 on an Electric Audi will take it this far off road.
That may be so, but for the price and reputation of Audi "Quattro," it should certainly be able to deliver on all fronts. This is why the test is important.
It does have lane centering. You need to press the button on the end of the turn signal stalk to activate it.

the lane centering probably needs to be turned on in the settings

Probably should’ve measure ground clearance on a flat surface? 26:00
Technically, yes.
Could you also do a Rivian test, please?
I think we need to revisit what a wagon actually is.
Can I have a noise emitter that sounds like an ice cream truck?
As a motorcyclist, and I mean daily 365, hands free and "auto" driving scare me to death. RIDE A BUS if you want to be hands free.
ACC and lane centering is included. I would say it beats Tesla autopilot hands down

its deserves it lol! they also have a three motors version significanly way more offroad capable i think the etron coupe
