Got to see Garrison Keillor live which was an absolute delight! I love this interview. The two of them are very different but they are such pros and their style compliments each other.
Wonderful!! I regret that I never got to see his radio show live, but towards the end of his show's run I had too much to deal with on the home front. I was fortunate to see him in a show in St. Petersburg, FL and it was so great!! Thank you for the many years of stories, music and laughter. 😇
He is a real trooper on a book tour. My Dad stood in line and told me how long the line was here in Dayton, Ohio. He brought me a signed copy of his poem book, then.
Thanks for posting this. Two of my favorite people in broadcasting…. but I do have to admit that, together, they make a strange pair. The only thing disappointing about the video is the missed opportunity for the greatest “Awkward Pause” of all time.
with this massive surge of GK videos all at once, for one second i feared, he died on us! but, i guess, someone in lake wobegon just had an oopsie with the release date function of youtube.

I thought they had great rapport, we expect them to both be a bit awkward no big deal, but they had great timing as usual.

How nice it is to see two people of equal wit interacting. I mean Garrison is a genius but Craig can certainly keep up.
Craig bends over backwards to play the perfect foil for his guests and sets them up to get big laughs.

That’s unfair. It’s like saying Sinatra is a better vocalist than Placido Domingo. CF couldn’t do what GK does and vice versa.
