Pam - you can use a piece of fish line for a “needle”. Fold fishing in half and put threads in that fold. The fold is like the eye. No poking fingers. Can also stiffen end of string with glue to form a self needle. I giggle every time your voice goes up with your excitement. It’s contagious!!

I started watching this just out of curiosity because your videos are always fun, but by the end I wanted to make some myself! I don't generally make junk journals so couldn't think how I could use a dangle, but then it suddenly came to me. I'm part way through making my version of a spirit stick (or sticks) with things that have some special meaning to me, that will hang in my porch. I paint sticks from the woods and attach ribbon, feathers, dried sage and other herbs, beads, charms, etc and some long beaded dangles would be great! Thank you for the inspiration!!!

💗 Knots and beads knots and beads, some big, some small, so many colors, shapes and sizes. Grandma may have some saved in old tins, jars or vases. Might even get them as gifts from kind folks in far places. What fun to be had stringing beads on a line to add sparkle and shimmer to a Junk Journal spine! Holly 🐦, I think I need to give you and your Momma tool belts. 😂😂😂😂 Pam has such a supportive, friendly and creative group over on Facebook. So many ideas for all things Junk Journal. Take care all in the Paper Outpost "Pamily"! 😊 💛✌🙏

    So...Pam,
In the midst of crafting here in the deep south of Georgia today, we had a tornado touch down nearby and head our way! As the alarms were sounding, I grabbed the dog and my water and headed for the basement. Then... I ran back up because I had left the top off of my distress ink! In the end all was fine, including my vintage photo! ( : (Fortunately the caps were on my glues!)

For those who don't have a needle threader on hand for threading thicker yarns, just grab a strip of paper (narrow enough to fit through the eye of the needle) or piece of sewing thread; fold it in half around the yarn, poke it through the needle, and pull! I also find that it's easier to fold the yarn end into a loop and stuff that through the needle rather than trying to get the fraying end through...
