Id like to consider myself a rappers rapper so when I see it in a OG like Ghetts I can only respect it and hope to highlight it for others when they se my reviews.
Ill add that Crud one that's a new suggestion I haven't seen. MS word and Mozambique already in the cut. I think Listen is too as well. But they all coming I gotta hear these classics one by one. Thanks again for the suggestions they really do help.
I can add the Ghetts but I've rinsed the in the fire record so much in my crib my reaction wouldn't be fresh. Im thinking of going back and reacting to the old Dave and Fredo FITB and BBC freestyles before they were massive like they are now.
@@Jurnalist_ here are some Dave before the big time

Microsoft Word is my favourite
I love how you appreciate real aristry 👌🔥🔥🔥your picking good ones to react to
Its all love and a learning experience I have a lot of learning to do from these artist I review.
4:20 he said murkery. Murk means kill so murking means killing it. But i think it was a double entendre for Mercury (the planet) coz straight after he said 'plan it' which sounds like planet.
I thought he was doing a play on the Mercury award you guys offer over there, but either way the bar is crazy
@@Jurnalist_ a nice little coincidence is he was actually nominated for the mercury award for the album he was promoting
its a triple entendre because mercury (the chemical) is so hot it will evaporate at room temperature
@@yamch Mercury is the substance inside old school thermometers. When the mercury is rising it's getting hot
3:32
I think he's pointing out the divide between africans and Caribbeans when he says that
Theres definitely nigerian food in the states. Theres a lot of nigerians over there .
Your right but access is slim. Id have an easier time finding an African based grocery store and making it from scratch before I could get a spot by me. LA has some good food but servicing our people is not something I've seen.
Last time I had Nigerian food I was dating a Nigerian girl. that was the easiest access to the food I've had since I moved back to cali.
Nice one bro. still waiting on that Avelino X Dave Cassius clay(audio version)
Bro it drops this week I think sat or Sunday if I remember my schedule correctly.
Yeah… £15 racks for a 16 bar sounds right to m
I appreciate that you have reacted to one of the UK's finest but, if you fail to understand what is being said, what is the point of your reaction?
if you could point out where you think I failed to understand I think we can build off of there.
The point of my reactions is one to showcase a premier emcee doing his thing in a market that honestly shuns them despite being so talented, the secondary purpose is to expose myself and anyone who may not know the OG to his music and skillset.
from there I can learn and understand the music more and or be educated on what I may not get due to the cultural divide and time by a more well-versed listener or a native in the comments.
creating the discussion and showcasing the music is the goal.
One has to put in the effort to get the lingo/nuance of the lyrics. Pull up a lyric version, get what's being said, then voila, you are converted.
@@concernedcitizen8939 bro if you can’t point out an exact moment I don’t understand your comment. Your assuming man hasn’t done the work to understand the nuances of the music because I don’t know the lingo. But I do know most the lingo and I do Google the others I don’t unless it’s not easily found like what a calass is if it’s even spelled that way.
I feel like you would think my review was more authentic if I took the time to do a bar break down and explain the lingo as well if that is what your saying I can incorporate that as I can do it already I just didn’t want the review to become too much if that’s what you are trying to say.
nar is was really filmed in Dubai
That onsite budget different now lol.
1000 this was done in the dessert, cuzzy
murcury the planet/merking, planet/plan it , double entendres
okay it was what I was thinking.
Plus mercury = heat because it's the liquid inside thermometers.
btw idris is actually from newham, same as ghetts so that bar hits a little harder. Kano actually did a series called "Newham Talks" on his youtube channel, he sits down with some big artists that made it out of newham including Idris, Ghetts, D double & more... so much gems dropped in those convos
I watched the ghetts joint would y’all like me to add those in to?
@@Jurnalist_ would be dope to hear your thoughts, always appreciate your commentary on the culture
@@k_kingz2317 well add it in. Now that things are kind of getting more organized as well.
What Us rapper do you reckon can go bar for bar with ghetts? really finding it hard to think of one
And yeah Ghetts isnt actually that huge hes got legendary status tho. similar with kano etc. Hes made his bank tho
Bar for bar is easy Lupe, Yassin, King ken, Big Kritt.
However bar for bar and performance together I cant think of anyone.
That's truly due to his grime bg that energy he cultivated their makes him hard to stand next too and perform.
but if its song for song no performing he has comp but live that boy is a certy demon.
He should be way more major globally.
Only em
