Can anyone suggest a nursery that sells the Reverend Morgan variety? And, does anyone have any feedback on growing this variety in Central Texas?

Do you think now (Jan 23) is an ok time to plant an apple tree? I’m in Denton county (argyle). Do I need 1 or 2?

You can plant dormant fruit trees( I recommend barefoot) around late Early March to Late April. I believe Denton county is in zone 8a or 7b so that would be best so no winter damage is taken. And for number of trees, it depends on whether the plant is self pollinating or not. So depending on variety you grow, research whether it needs a polarizer or not. Some are self pollinating others are not. So it again depends on type/variety. If you have any questions please ask.
