To make a working trigger - Cut the shape of the trigger, but longer. Round off the top of it. Put a hole in the top of the trigger. Poke a stick through the gun and through the top of the trigger so the trigger can hinge. Then glue a spring behind the trigger

@Simp Pass Giver Just follow this tutorial he made of the M4A1, except make the handguard longer and instead of the collapsable stock, make the fixed one and there you go. The M16A2.

I don't use plans or templates. All I use are my full scale drawings. As for making them fire, there are ways to do it, but that would almost always involve using hardened paper or cardboard which are materials I do not like working with.

Do you mean the width? If so, I made mine about an inch wide. I'm not sure how accurate that is because I didn't have a real one for reference though.

To make the top sight rail look better, remove the top layer of the cardboard to expose the corrugation
