Nice! I hadn't realized that Edaville was still open. Nice to see that they have steam in operation again. All the Maine Two-Foot stuff is back in Maine now. Last I saw, Edaville was running one of the GE 23t B-B locomotives and a newer (not super old) Plymouth with a raised cab roof. But that was quite some time ago.
Thanks for filming this special operating session!! You did a great job! We at Real Toy Trains appreciate everything you catch in southeastern Massachusetts.
Thank you for this interesting video, it is great to see this in operation, the sights and sounds of these locomotives and trains is much appreciated. Thank you for the work you do in these productions.
Took my two sons there on a scout trip just before Christmas for a night excursion back in 1979 or 80. The old steam trains were still in use before they were sent up to Maine. The cranberry bogs were all decorated with lights and displays. I guess the developers moved in because I don't see any cranberry bogs there now.
@TechMasterJason I speak about the 1970's way before your time. Cranberry bogs as far as you can see all around now mostly filled in and homes built there.
Doesn’t Edaville usually operate there steam locomotives during the festival of Christmas lights? Maybe being this was in August, it was a test run for 0-4-0 #11.
Curious on some parts of your Video looks like you r using Fish Eye lense. CARS look like they are Curving when going past your lense? Particular reason for that visual effect.?
Although their Webpage says Temporarily Closed, I am wondering if this is an old vid? Anyone know for sure. It seems too be the same shot in various angles
Love the 3 chime. Reminds me of cass shay # 3 (my Emily # 1) assaulting Whitaker grade in WV

I knew that edaville wasn't gone. It's in a slumber state. Coming back better than ever.
Many trips there in the late 40's early 50's before Ellis was killed. Xmas was magic.

I first read about this rail line in Model Railroader magazine in thGuage. 1970's.
Somebody modeled this in 027 (Lionel) guage.
I remember when #11 debuted in 2013 she had an amazingly shrill whistle. What ever happened to that shrill whistle? I love shrill whistles.
Thanks for the update. The device I was using at the time had minimal info. Appreciated

Edaville #2 once had a horn and whistle.

I used to work as a fireman at Edaville is it still a 5 1/2 mile loop track? I heard a rumor it was cut back years ago.
Thank you
The loop was cut back to about 2 miles now. A section of the old loop still branches off but doesn’t go to Mt. Urann anymore.
Awesome video
Do you what size 3 chime the 11 has on it?
Why aren't the crossing signals activating?
I thought they stopped running steam.
Read the description 👍🏼

Hi Do You Know When Thomas The Tank Engine Will Run In 2022
I do not, sorry. Check the Edaville website for updates.
2 foot gauge?
Yes
I wonder whether crossings aren't working
They were shut off because the park wasn’t open
@@SouthCoastRailVideos oh okay
