Believe it or not three cars of this latest batch of hyundai rotems: 885, 886 and 1866 are in service, with 1867 still in testing. This video was taken back in August (probably middle of the month) when they were freshly delivered from Hyundai Rotem’s South Korean facility.
❤ I would love to see that one Crossing to be active with crossing gates add flashing red lights in the name of Public Safety it needs to be done to prevent accidents😊
At 21:55 the video show a section of track behind all red home signal. Was that track part of an old track at one time? There still appears to be ballast in place. Do you have any explanation about it Michael?
A Mass Coastal locomotive with a long line of hopper freight cars towed the four brand new MBTA rotems from middleboro yard to rochester where they will begin acceptance testing after inspections to be cleared for finally carrying paying commuter rail customers in regular passenger service upon completion of their testing periods.
Won't it be fun if mass coastal ran PASSENGERS EXCURSIONS WITH THEIR FREIGHT TRAINS........"IT BE A EXCITING VIDEOS :SOUTH COAST VIDEOS CAUGHT FIRST PASSENGERS/MIXED FREIGHT TRAINS "....😊😅😮😢🎉😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Actually, I agree that it would be exciting if Passenger Excursions were headed by Freight Locomotives; however, the engines are not equipped with Head End Power like the commuter locomotives. The only engines that possess HEP generators are the FL9’s
I hope the Mass Coastal will get lots and lots of new customers and even extend it's service and rebuild disused lines in 2025!
Wow! That yard has really improved over the last 10 years! All that rolling stock and tracks! Bravo!!

I am VERY excited! Every story about Southcoast Rail is about "Testing is going great, expecting to begin service in Spring 2025".
Thanks for watching!

Four brand new MBTA rotems. 🤩😊👍👍👍
Wouldn’t mixed trains be interesting? I’d definitely ride them!
❤❤❤. That's very cool. 😎

It was temporary access to a freight track during the South Coast Rail construction project.

I keep wondering how a B32-8 would look like in the Mass Coastal scheme.
When does the new Bedford line open up.
Honestly, I’m curious what’s likely to happen to the Horizon Coaches once the bilevel coaches replace the single level cars?
comet coaches, not horizons.
Most likely retire them or sell them
@@AnthonyPinkerton-d7p also, as an actual answer, its scrap and work trains

Why didn't I think of that... Way cool❤
I'm glad I don't work on RRs, I had to listen to 18:35 5 times and I still don't understand what each of them said 😂
