This is super clean 1971 Ford Torino GT convertible might look like a show car, but in reality, owner Frank and Terry Szymkowski drive this car to shows and events whenever they can. It is one of 26 built in the white and black color combination, complete with a ram air 351 under the hood and a four-speed manual transmission. We really like how the blue laser stripes add to the awesome look of the car, and we were fortunate enough to spend a few minutes with Frank to learn about the car at the 2021 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show in Chicago. (MCACN).

My cousin had a Torino when I was little. He took me for a ride once to go to 7-11 for a Slurpee and he made a hard turn and all his cassette tapes fell through the hole in the floor. I remember going back and trying to find them all. Ahh, the good old days.😄

I’m so glad you guys are back! Me and my 85 year old grandfather watched you guys all the time before he passed back in November. He really loved the cars and just the show it self. Can’t wait to see what awesome cars you’re gonna show this year!

Torinos get nowhere near as much love. Very underrated.

I've always thought this year was the most beautiful of the Torino body styles.

As a lot boy in the mid 70's I vividly remember a '71 Ranchero GT with a 429 4 speed. Even back then I knew how unusual it was, and it set in place a love for the '70-'71 Torino's...such a good looking car with Cleveland or 385 performance

My mother had a 1973 four door Torino I got to drive in high school, that thing would hold 8 teenagers no problem.

Nuts how people like you put so many months and years into something like that just to watch someone else drive it away. "Gotta pay the bills" I know, but it must be so heart breaking.

Missed you guys. I once owned a 71 Torino. It was the 4 door, auto, but it had a 351 C. Souped up the engine and it was the best sleeper I ever owned. Thanks for the memory.

Dad loved his '72 Torino in light yellow gold. 351 Cleveland went very well and looked great. This '71 GT rag is gorgeous and well driven, Nice to hear. People should see these great cars. Tnx Kevin -- keep 'em comin'.

What a gorgeous car. I had a 71' ragtop in the 1980s on Long Island, and I can attest to the rust issues. These had double rockers, where the the moisture would sit between and rot away. Love it in Wimbledon white.

Great commentary and review. Keep up the great work you do. But, I would like to see more coverage of Buick and Oldsmobile in the future. There is an auto industry wide lack of coverage of these makes. Buick and Oldsmobile manufactured some great muscle cars as you are aware but the total lack of industry wide coverage is frustrating. Buick and Oldsmobile should be given their due, they earned it. I would appreciate seeing reviews, comparisons, options available & 60 second and quarter mile times for these vehicles. I would also appreciate seeing your top ten muscle cars expanded to top 20. Also, expand top 20 to include the years 1966 through 1971. Thank you for your research and commentary on your videos.

That is a beautiful car! Love the Magnum 500s on a Torino or a Mustang. I recognized the Cleveland heads, but was surprised there wasn't a "351" emblem on the shaker. Guess it's better to keep'em guessing. :)
