Love that you're making videos for all the levels, even intermediary levels! Nothing beats working out with the motivator himself, the Busy Dad. Rock on!
@@busydadtraining I'm just spitballing here... so, I hurt my chest at work and haven't been able to do pushups. At first I couldn't even get into Plank position, so I did 20 minutes of squats (a sacred movement, yes?) and then 20 minutes of an hiit core workout I know (maybe not so sacred.) Once my chest was good enough to Plank, I started in on 4 count burpees and 6 count mountain climber burpees, (a navy seal with no pushups.) Anyways! My point/question I'm oh-so-painfully-slowly getting to is... how do we compensate for injuries to stay on the Busy Dad Program and get our 80 minutes in? Worth a video? I don't know!

16:07 “Alright now, stay with me”. The exact words I needed to hear at that moment. I have been doing fitness focused mostly on power lifting for the last ten years and recently hit an emotional and mental plateau. I follow Alan Thrall and he just started going through the same thing. Life also blew up on me and I found myself overworked, only able to go to the gym twice a week, and going to visit family in Greece and needed something I could do that would be a change mentally and physically, adapt into my two day a week routine and be able to be done on vacation. I looked up burpees, found your page, did some practice and am happy to say I just completed my first 50 in 21 minutes in the backyard of γιαγιά (grandma) and I feel alive and accomplished. Thank you so much for your love and encouragement. It means the world amidst the craziness and stress of life. God bless!
Thank you so much for your kind message, my friend, and I am very sorry only to be responding to you now. I am delighted that this video helped you, and I hope that you'll continue to build your burpee practice, my friend. It is life changing.
Max!!!!! I was in nomansland at 30 reps. With your help and encouragement I’ve just gone through 50 seals!! The most I’ve ever done. Sweaty, puffing but absolutely loving it. Thanks for your encouragement man, see you on the next one. 👊💪👍

new personal best. thank you for the guidance. whenever you encourage us to allow our bodies to settle into the pace about half way through it helps me to stay focused on rep by rep instead of getting overwhelmed by the entirety of what's left.
Thank my brother from across the pond. I just did the 50 kind of following along with you. Probably took me around 35 minutes due to hitting pause but that's 150 pushups in the bank and 35 minutes on my feet. I plan to focus on these 3 times a week and to try and shorten the time and we'll see if I can move up the ladder.

It's sure no Picnic but I'm not TKO'd like I was the first couple times I did it. Got 100 6pt ones in too but darn hard. I like to follow that one with you and your guest. Thanks for all you're doing, much appreciated, I feel there's a possibility of unleashing those ever elusive abs one day now!! Cheers!

Thank you thank you for being there w/ me to complete level 1C. I will stay at 1C, then regroup after 5 days. I started to falter from the 42nd rep, which was when my granddaughter asked help put the straw into her juice packet. Thankfully She held out for the remaining eight reps to get it done. Better go, She wants to go have a scooter ride.
These are amazing! I’ve been a good athlete for most of my life, but since I’ve had my kids I’ve slipped quite a bit. I started busy dad training after a few months of push-ups sit ups and keto. I’ve lost 60 pounds and I feel better than ever. Knocked out fifty today and going for sixty with the next session. These videos are so inspiring and helpful. Thank you!
Once again, rescued by a midway workout! Max, I have to say that (virtual or not) you're the best training partner I've known. Your refocus moments throughout the workout are timely and appreciated, and genuinely work. 1D isn't looking so far away now. Thanks mate.

Hey Max, another great video, thank you. If you’re taking requests then I’m currently stuck at around 65 6-counts in my 20 mins so a 75 6-count pace would be great. The 100 pace is sadly too much.
