I love the fact that even though all of you are hunters, you still take the time to have a safety briefing. You all trust one another and the camaraderie y'all share is endearing and fun! What a great group of friends!
I am totally a city gal who found your page after my husband's unexpected death. Your content has brought my much joy, more tears when you have lost one of your animals, and knowledge of animals that I have never been around. Thank you so much Katie for being such an amazing young lady.
Watching your videos reminds me how grateful I am to have grown up on a horse farm with loving intelligent parents. We did the horse shows, mom was a 4-H leader and parents were show judges, etc. What a blessed life!
I love how open and honest you are about all the good, the bad and the ugly that comes along with farm life. I love you you have such a bright entertaining personality. I’ve learned so much from all your videos. Thank you for being you and sharing your life with us
I was thinking the same things after watching this video! I love the kinship (is that even a real word?) with the group of friends they have! Every age group, man or woman is always welcome when they are doing fun activities! I think all their friends have such great personalities! They're all very funny & the jokes aren't ever at anyone's expense! I usually get so wrapped up in what she's talking about, because I always seem to learn something, that I didn't realize right away that she was rocking back & forth like you do when you're holding a baby. Well, I do anyway, can't seem to stand still when I have a baby in my arms. Katie, on the other hand found that happy moment with a delicious dove breast wrapped in bacon and grilled with luv from Jonathan! Finally a food she loves! The whole day was so fun to watch, Thanks Katie! Oh, I don't want to forget: Good job Connor!
Breeding/foaling season is always educational to me. I’ve never had horses but love them and love getting to live out through you being △⃒⃘ horse girl. I also love how you are unapologetically you no matter what!!
I love how your call your father Daddy. Don't let anybody "shame" you out of that. I called mine Daddy until the day he died 2 years ago at 87 (I'm almost 70!!!). I asked him once about Daddy and he said that's what you've always called me. I wouldn't know who you were talking to if you called me dad.
I called mine Daddy too. He’s been gone now for 10 years; I still miss hearing his voice, him telling his family stories, and riding horses with him.😢🩵
I love how different areas of the country are so into different types of bird hunting. I’ve never seen much about dove hunting before and it’s cool to learn about.
I love watching and learning from you and how honest you are when you don't know something. I also love how close you are to everyone that works with you. I have been going through chemo this year and your videos have gotten me through hard times. You and the whole crew and animals have put many a smile on my face so thank you.
Everyone looks like they are having fun and such great aims. The food and the part set up looks amazing! So glad you all had an amazing opening day of Dove season! Love watching these videos of yours Katie here on UA-cam, TikTok, etc ❤
I love your transparency and honesty. You can also see the love and peace in your animals with how you treat them. Thank you for sharing your life online. Keep hunting and riding. It’s great you are back in the saddle again.
I went probably over 30 years of life not knowing that pigeons and doves were the same thing. I thought all doves were white and kind of rare and that pigeons are primarily grey with color on their necks and you see them on buildings or in parking lots. But then I was vacationing in the south and a person kept talking about the doves and I looked at my husband and was like aren't those pigeons? Turns out there are some differences but what I thought were pigeons are in deed a type of dove.
Pigeons are a group of domestic species derived from doves...rock doves are the closest relative. So you aren't totally wrong! Because they are a domestic aka 'created' species, they are almost completely reliant on humans to survive, which is why you see them in cities. They are not capable of finding food in the wild.
Learning about the dove hunting has been educational for me as no one in my family has been into dove hunting. I love how everyone just goes in together for the cooking of the dove. Such an amazing group! Seems like my kind of people!
That looked like so much fun! What a wonderful group of friends & great day hanging out together… absolutely love that you are showing that there strong, beautiful, feminine women that can hunt, fish & not be afraid to show it. ❤❤
Hi Katie. Wanted you to know how much your videos mean to me. They make me forget the sad events going on in my life right now. I love in a lovely home with my special needs son in NC. We have a roof over our heads and food to eat. But, they say as long as you have your health... Well, mine isn't great but I have high hopes that will turn around. Your feeds really keep me going and I look forward to them every single day. Keep doing what you're doing. Love to you, your family and ALL your animals!
I really loved how you went thru all the bird dogs and what their favorite things were. I love how you treat everyone there as family. And I love how open you are and that you explain things very well to help educate those that may not know about hunting or animals.
I love watching and learning about the different animals and their gestation periods. It’s so amazing to see the differences between the normal vs mini animals and their needs.
I have learned so much from your videos about horses from breeding and birth to training and socialization. I also appreciate the explanations of horse show classes.
As far as this Dove Hunt video - I enjoyed every second of it. It appears to be the best time for you, your family and friends! Katie, I appreciate the authenticity of how you present yourself on Social Media. It is so refreshing to see a person who is totally themselves each and every day! Having owned horses for years and being without them in recent years there is a yearning for them - it's something that will never leave me. I enjoy so much watching all of your animals, the babies, the minis and the cows. Thank you for providing my daily "horse fix"!
I find it really educational to understand how hunting helps to keep the populations under control and the herds/flocks healthy! It has given me a greater understanding on hunting in general. Love seeing the respect!
I love how open you are and transparent when it comes to things and happenings on the farm. I spent my childhood hanging out at my great uncles farm across the road from where I grew up! Dairy cows and horses and all the things! Was a great way to grow up! Keep doing you!! You’re a great person inside and out and we are alllll thankful for you and what you show us!
You and your family are so much fun! You all truly enjoy each other and have a great time with one another, no matter which sport it is. Thanks for sharing and hope you all lots of birds!
I love that you share these behind the scenes moments with us. It’s so interesting to learn more about all of your different hunts. I look forward to catching up with your different socials at the end of a long day
I have never lived on a farm. My kids and I love watching your videos because it teaches them so much about owning farm animals and what it all takes to take care of the animals needs. Thank you for opening up your life and animals with us.
Traditions are so important, and I love that your family is so close and you bring everyone in. I am not a hunter, but I am not against eating what others hunt! Thanks for sharing your life and family (whether by blood or choice) gatherings!
I love your videos, and so does my granddaughter. Every time she visits we watch them together. Learning about farm life, mini animals and the ups and downs of farm life. It's made for some wonderful conversations about life in general!
It's so nice to see how much fun you all have together. You truly are one big family who love being together whether it's working or playing. It's also nice to see how everyone comes together and pitches in to get things ready. Such a joy to watch you, your family and friends through the good and bad times.
I love that your friends and family get together for traditions like the Dove Hunt. You all seem to have such a good time even when things don't go perfectly such as it raining. Keep the traditions going and continue letting the people in your life know how valued they are. That is why I love to watch your videos.
I love how you explain so much about the animals to us non-farm people. I have learned so much. I also like that you show the good and the bad of farm life, even though there are some hard losses. You keep it real.
I just love the closeness of everyone that works on your farm, you all are a family. The dogs were so excited to run after those doves, that's one thing I have never tried, I wish that I could, looks delicious. I have metastatic breast cancer and I love watching your videos especially on the nights I can't sleep. You are an inspiration!
I enjoy how you openly share all the good and bad that happens when you have livestock of any kind. There’s lots of life lessons that are learned. The love that you show for family, friends, employees (that all become family/friends) and your critters is uplifting to see in today’s world. ❤
I absolutely love how you not only use your videos as entertainment but also do your best to educate us.. It means a lot that you take the time to explain things especially since so many of your followers are not familiar with the farm/hunting lifestyle..❤❤
Hey Katie! My mom and I love all of your videos. The camaraderie in this video is amazing. You all seem to have such fun with hunting and cooking afterwards. Enjoying each other’s company and just loving life! Thank you so much for sharing
I love how you show truth experiences of raising animals. The good and the bad. You truly love them. In your therapy sessions with Pico, in the animal naming process and even in the unfortunate moments like the loss of Bubbles. It is evident you care for your animals well and they love you too 💕
I grew up in a family that hunts and farms. We had cattle, goats and chickens. Hunting was something we had done together, and I cherish the memories of me and my mom hunting together. I love the passion you have for anything you do including hunting. I've never been dove hunting but it looks so much fun!
This is such a great way to show your loves! It’s wonderful! I’m thankful for having your videos to watch, your animals to love, and your life to enjoy!
Although I'm not a fan of hunting you have taught me the positive aspects of hunting different animals. I do love the way you and Jonathan enjoy each other with family activities in between your many hard working educational farm videos and farm chores.
My favorite thing in all this is that you and daddy still hu t together. I grew up following my daddy everywhere. 410 was my first rifle after my hunters safety course pass! I love that you show us so many aspects of your life! My family were pretty avid hunters back when I was little but after my dad died, I unfortunately lost contact with that side of the family. Thank you for sharing your family and life! Its nice to see there are still wholesome families out there!
In my hey day I worked on two race horse farms and in a couple veterinary offices. Had my own 10 acre horse farm after I married my husband.
