that BO-105 is the one you want. 1st made in 67 it was the first helicopter to fly an inverted loop. 50 years later it is still awesome.

Just started my helicopter pilot's license. They are a handful. Flying is way easier imo.

Very cool! I have had a pilot's license since 1983 and have about 2500 hours logged. It is great to just jump into a plane and go somewhere for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or all 3 in one day in different places. Get your license and have fun! For you, as I did, you can use it for business and write it all off. I used to fly myself all over the country. You can fly to your events and have others drive all the equipment there. It saves you a lot of time to do other income-producing things instead of driving trucks all over the country. Good luck! Take care and God bless you all! David

The BO 105 is a beautiful machine. The German Army used them when I was stationed there. They make such a awesome sound!

Flying rotor craft is much more difficult than flying fixed wing aircraft.
There also is more to know than just the skill to operate the aircraft.
You also have to be thoroughly versed in all
FAA regulations in every aspect of the ground rules, air rules, nomenclature, taxi, take off and flying terms, procedures and regulations.
There is a lot more to know, that normally
cannot be learned in one year.
Cleetus would have to devote himself nearly full time learning to fly and becoming licensed for helicopter, to pull off getting certified in one year.
Also, helicopters have a very high cost of upkeep, four times more than a comparable fixed wing aircraft, so this equates to higher cost of learning to fly a
helicopter, as the cost of operation is partially passed on to the student.
While Cleetus is making a lot of money on his channel, there would be a pretty hefty
sum coming off to learn to fly rotorcraft.
Except for someone doing it as a favor,
it’s not going to be cheap.

It is actually a Messerschmitt Bolkow Bluhm BO 105. In the mid 1970s, I used to drive past the Messerschmitt factory in Augsburg when production began. Still a world favorite to this day.

I crewed UH-1 Huey's for the first 5 years of my Air Force career. After a particular bad day, after recovery and therapy, I retrained into the mighty C-130 Hercules. I love my Herk but I miss helos. Retired now and miss flying terribly. Nice vid. They really are that much fun.

When I was in the infantry I was lucky enough to take the spare seat with a few high up officers. We had a hard-core pilot showing off that made me near shit myself. Pivoting side to side 10ft off the Georgian bay waters a mile out. It was the wildest ride I've ever experienced.

It's still a mind blowing and humbling feeling when I watch videos with aircraft in them, and I see avionics products that I am involved with built by the company I work for installed in them. That's a damn nice helicopter, and it's cool to see an ESG transponder and 2i / 3i receiver installed.

I was a nuclear power plant operator, and landed on the USS Nimitz on a Grumman C-2 Greyhound, then took a 53' motor whale boat...aka "liberty boat", to my ship the USS Texas, a cruiser. I have also flown on numerous commercial aircraft. However, the most fun I've had? Riding on a Huey when it visited here 5 years ago! After getting off, I said "I want one!". Oh, and that slow banked turn over Lake Huron? Awesome! WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP!

I definitely am big into rotarywing. Just aviation in general. My dad flew 30 years in the military and Close to 20 for medical. It's a impressive that you knew the b105. Even though it's not as fast as other helicopters its agility is 2nd to none
