To me TTYL is the new Why Not in the sense it's giving cute summer festival vibes. I'm freezing here in Peru but Loossemble is making me excited for summer days already 🥲
I think spoiling the song on social media is good for groups trying to make new fans like Loossemble - the hope is people hear the snippet, like it, and check them out yeah? I can see groups with huge fanbases not doing this though!
I was heartbroken when loona was no longer one as a whole but i feel like loossemble is doing the girls so much more justice from lines to the concept and sound wise. An absolute earworm
@@jinsolz not sure how much you know about dance but it literally is insanely high energy, detailed, and memorable with great transitions and textures ... one of those choreos that looks incredible and is really hard to execute perfectly ... definitely up there with loop as the best post-bbc choreos 😭😭😭
when you said TTYL was bratty and demure, something clicked in me. you are absolutely right, it makes so much sense. the shade of green they chose for the album art is very strategic.
Bratty demure is the most real way to descibe this song! 😅 And the choreo is really good too! And don't get me started with the album. 🤩 But I can understand that people don't like overspoiling trailers and all. I watched all teasers and dance challenge on mute to avoid being spoiled 😆 and I can tell you that I had a totally different song in my mind 🤣
I think for groups that aren’t that popular it’s a good strategy to spoil the song bcz in my case i didn’t know who they are but when i saw the reel with the snippet i really liked it so i checked it out and m OBSESSED.
Personally I try to stay away from trailers and teasers especially for comebacks of my favourite groups and those I’m most excited about. I still see the teaser pictures sometimes but as soon as a songs snippet starts playing just know I’m scrolling past as fast as I can because for me it just ruins the experience of checking out the song in full for the first time. I prefer just going in without a clue of what I am about to hear. Sometimes it will take me a while for the song to grow on me that way but that’s just the fun part for me personally. Also I avoid looking at the date in the teaser pictures and comeback schedules because I hate when they start teasing it like 2 months in advance and then waiting for the drop day will feel like ages. So that way I will be surprised when the songs will just appear on my UA-cam timeline. :)
When the dance challenges spoils most of the chorus it does lessen the impact of the song dropping for me BUT I'm always gonna participate in the social media rollout anyway
@@Dalittt either way she could very well have viewers who are boycotting fifty fifty and could unsubscribe because of that reaction. all i said was a reason why she MAY NOT react to starry night.
I think spoil culture has gone too far I'm ok with hearing snippets of songs, some movies had major plot points revealed in trailers my childhood (90s) it's only recently that people get irrationally mad about not hearing even a second of a song or watching even a second of an important part of a movie as if it diminishes the enjoyment of it when you finally listen to it complete. I mean I understand the spoiling culture of movies and series a bit, some movies live and die by their big reveals and plot twists (although it can be argued that people have gotten to addicted to plot twists and unexpected reveals, some movies and series have gotten ruined because the writters were more worried about having a plot twist than by writting a coherent story). But music should not be treated like this, I think knowing the chorus of a song shouldn't diminish the impact the whole piece has over you, it's even a bit nonsensical. MVs in kpop have gone this route too about not spoiling major parts but TTYL as amazing as a song as it is (and it's one of my favorite songs of 2024, along with Loop and Virtual Angel) doesn't have major plot reveals during the video, so I see no harm in revealing snippets as part of the promotion if anything I think they rightfully had a lot of faith in the song pre release and that's why they revealed parts of it even while presales were up, if you think your song won't be liked you try to hide it as much as possible before release to not hurt pre sales
I totally gaslit myself into hearing ‘ you better leave me tonight’ and nothing else lololo
and then “maybe i’ll be your fan, girl”
lmao same 😭😭😭

This song is soo catchy, but the lyric "You Baddie, Rizz Me Up" kinda turns me off haha
