.Great video - like.
Thank you. I am very happy you enjoyed it 👍 😀
Nice ride Pretty views
Well worth a visit. Glad you enjoyed it 👍 😄
Awesome video
Thank you. Very happy you enjoyed the ride on the tram. 👍😀
That's a blast! 😃
It is a nice ride on the tram. 👍😀
Wow, I didn't even realize this place existed.
I'm not sure how long they have been operating for but I didn't think it was running when I was there a couple of years ago. Good to see them running their tram. 👍😀
😀. What a fab tramway…. so tidy and well kept. If the same were in England , the whole area would resemble a rubbish tip. As a country, we should be ashamed of ourselves. We are falling to bits. 🤨😖
It is a nice little tramway. I would like to visit England in the future. Glad you enjoyed the video 👍 😀
👍
Very happy you enjoyed it 👍 😀
Where is the overhead?
Have to love your take on DEV, always interesting subjects from many different locations. What could possibly come next?
I noticed that shadow.
I see your shadow n still no over head 😮
You are correct, no overhead. They tow a wagon with a generator supplying the power. They would like overhead but don't have the funds to put it up at this stage. 👍😀
@@driver667 Thx, I would have thought it would have been seen during the "change ends" it all adds to the propulsion mystery.
@@BlackCat-fr4ue trick of the camera 😉 👍😀
How in it moving, No over head wires-no cable in the ground? 🤔😱🥴
A generator on a wagon towed along. 👍😀
If it was towed along and the driver changed ends where was the wagon?@@driver667
Ah... 🤔 The camera was mounted on the front of the little wagon when it was being pushed 😃 Otherwise, half the picture would be looking at the generator. 👍😀
That long stretch of fancy paving seems like an enormous waste of money! It would have been better spent on restoring another tram!
I don't think the tram museum had a say in that as they are not the only user of the area. The area used to be the railway workshops. It is now a multi use area with the tram museum just one of the users of the area. 👍😀
@@driver667 Yes, I didn't think the Museum would have funded it, rather the government should have given more of the money to them and spent less on paving. I travelled out of Launceston station during the 1971 Rail Centenary celebrations.
@@cliffleigh7450 you have travelled over a section of track from the Launceston station that I missed out on. Good job 👍 😀
@cliffleigh7450 the Tramway Museum gets no government funding at all. We are a 100% volunteer and independent Museum. We keep the doors open purely by tram ticket prices, community bbqs through Bunnings and the occasional grant. There is a trust that can be drawn on for tram and track related expenses, but it is very strict and we share it with two other museums
@@janetdTas The museum is doing great work with limited resources 👍😀
