Jordan's are quite smart people. Tourism is a big money maker for the country. Caucasians are taken care of by most of the population, bad publicity would be very harmful to the country! Also he is a Male tourist, most of the population in the streets are also male. Female tourist on their own would not be treated the same as there would be a strong hesitancy to interact with a female tourist. There is a strong possibility of being rejected, causing a fear response or getting involved with a young single available female causing a lot of problems for the man and his family! That is just the way it has been. The culture is changing slowly towards progressive ways. Please respect the efforts being made, change is slow. If you are a traveling female please make sure that there is at least one intelligent and strong male in your group. This is just a realistic comment. Every one is entitled to their own opinion! I am a caucasian Roman Catholic who try's to get along with all peoples.😁🇨🇦
After going up this difficult path you were rewarded with this swim in that beautiful place 🌊 .. and for us , after waiting a week we are rewarded by this amazing video 👌
The videos are so nice. I think a lot of people in the western world have some prejudices (i had some of them too, to be honest). But due to your videos i got a new perspective. 👍
Very underrated. I check his channel regularly to see if there's a new video. I don't think I've ever done this with any other channel and I've been in UA-cam since the start. It's nice to follow his progress through the Middle East and into Africa. Such an infectious personality. And I like very much his knowledge of history.
You definitely earned your money pushing your bike up the hill, when the two men told you there are snakes around I have to say I was worried for you but you survived to tell the story, jolly good show, keep it up.
Saw the exact model of bike you use Yves, outside my local IKEA here in northern Sweden few days ago. Had me thinking for 2-3 seconds hahahaha... "Isnt Yves in Jordan?" haha anyway, glad to see you trecking on, keep up the good work Yves. Love from Sweden
Thanks for taking us along on your journey. I haven't been watching long but always look forward to your uploads. The culture, food, and locations have all been wonderful to see. Stay safe over there! :)
Those Bekaa valley thugs in Lebanon spoked you Kino. I say that because those two men who came offering help, where you put up your tent behind that house, were genuinely concerned about your safety - from snakes, specifically. You seemed skeptical about their intentions. I thought that was incredibly kind and noble of them to actually come over and offer shelter and food. Another Fantastic video, you’re so different from the rest of travel bloggers, and those of us who follow appreciate that.
It's true that I am much more careful because of the thugs if the Bekaa. Though I knew that these guys in the video were kind, but because of the Bekaa, yes, I'd rather avoid going to sleep in people's house with all my belongings.
Great video, I like the ancient and archaeological places far from the city, even we Jordanians do not always see them. Thank you and welcome to everyone

I selfishly wished you'd gone into Saudi Arabia and gone to Riyadh but I am sure that riding would be very hot and not so easy. I am still very excited to follow your journey into Africa. May God bless you on your journey and keep you safe Frenchman. Blessings from this American

My Jordanian gilfriend always spoke badly of Ma'an by saying that it's a unsafe cove of islamits and beggars. She would always tell me to avoid that town.
Amazing content, Don't worry about your Makdous it is supposed to rot, you can preserve it well dipped in olive oil. I suggest you use a cascette or something round your head to avoid sunstroke.
I never commented on youtube before but the Jordanian people made me do it. What an amazing country and an amazing people! Big love from Ethiopia
