just finished the episode, im happy for your progress! in my first playthrough i went the other way and i travelled to the most difficult, painful, rage inducing area of the game lol, and i was fortunately able to go through eventually.
There is a certain critter that would make traversing the dark bottom region easier once you get used to using it. It's one that you've already encountered in Chimney Canopy.
from the moment you uploaded the first episoded i was waiting for you to go to the wall,as someone has already said the wall is infuriating but the easier route,please climb it,most people hate it but i REALLY like the challenge of the wall and what comes after it,idk if you already know how to stick a spear to the ground to use it as a pole but if you dont youll need it for the end of the wall,you got so close i dont mind saying it anymore but to get through the wall after you climb it to the next area,in my experience you need two spears,one to stick to the ground and one to stick to the wall,to stick it to ground you need to do a backflip hold down while in the air and throw the spear,you'll know when to do this at a "dead end" at the top of the wall,there will be two routes one of them which is only accessible through using the spears to get up there,im sorry if this is not very well written but im trying my best since i have been waiting for this for sooo long now,i remember being at the wall when you posted your first rain world video so its nice seeing you get here,loving the videos man

Orange lizards are annoying but atleast they aren't cyan lizards (they can jump but I'll explain more when you encounter them on later campaigns). Despite the lizards, climbing upward is easier than navigating down and under. The flashing is just the ambience of the area (kinda like lightning). At the end of the cycle instead of rain, the entire area becomes electrified. And grappling worms are essential to get through this area. Now you know why I suggest climbing the wall. You were really close to the next shelter, just watch out for the lizards and poll plants and I believe you can make it! (I might join that stream tomorrow 👀 )
