#flowers #mileycyrus #piano
Nahre, you are cool enough to buy yourself flowers 🎉
Real
Yes! Real.
Love that this is the most upvoted comment
This was so interesting! Thank you!
Everyone can buy themself flowers, but it’s just not the same as getting flowers from someone who loves you to show you they love you. Miley missed that part
That Rachmaninoff version is soooo 🤌 I just wish we got EPs for each of these with full versions I would just die of happiness.
This is such high quality classical music education.
You bring life to these composers. Thank you for creating a bridge between classical and modern music
That being said... Modern Music as interpreted by Classical Pianists is a Spotify Playlist I can only wish for 👉👈
I can't believe the knowledge of Nahre, and how she plays, incredible musician and pianist.
You captured these composers style so well, especially Rachmaninoff. Superb!
My fave adjectives in this video: twisty, languishing, perky, DUBIOUS, impish, splashy, juicy, WRITHING 💫
In a harpsichord the Scarlatti one would be fabulous. Excellent video😁
What a wonderful lighthearted video for today!!! I'd love to see more composer takes on pop songs!!!
please. never. stop. your. videos.
The Rachmaninov version was thrilling! But the Beethoven was so dead on, I thought you were playing one of his pieces to demonstrate his style. It wasn’t until you moved on to Chopin that I realized that was your Beethoven cover.
I second this.
This is an amazing video. The song is okay originally, but it's even better classical. (I also might be biased because I play violin lol)
2:03 - In the Style of Beethoven
2:59 - In the Style of Chopin
3:46 - In the Style of Mozart
4:23 - In the Style of Scarlatti (Honestly my favorite)
5:24 - In the Style of Rachmaninoff
Once again, you capture the personality of these composers perfectly not only with their style of music but their historical environment that heavily influenced these great composers. Thank you
" I don't think I'm so cool to buy myself flowers, but I can analyse music". When talent is accompanied by humility is gift for others. You don't need to buy yorself a flower because you ARE a flower. I bow down to you.
Hi Nahre, I love the analysis. Could you also release a separate video of just you playing the different variations? That'll be lovely.
The format doesn't stop to be very entertaining, bravo! My years of music theory, listening for composing patterns in famous composers, feel eloquently regurgitated by your concise and interesting interventions!
*We absolutely love this kind of interpretations!* 🌺 Can't stop laughing joyfully 🎉
I feel like Miley Cyrus needs to pay you to write some of these bars for her to use on tour to live remixes of that song.
Exactly..she probably eant fot miley to pay het..hahaha
1000%
You're so talented 😭😭
I don't watch all your videos because I prefer to rediscover your channel every now and then, but from time to time I see one pop in my feed
Today it was this one, and after only 2 minutes it popped in my head "Yes, that's why I subbed all that time ago"
Wow... thank you for sharing. Always love classical music, I grew up with it!!! This is by far my favorite in all the remix.
I wish you would publish these, and many others from your previous videos! I want to learn them!
Absolutely love the scarlatti version❤❤❤ Simplistic yet articulated 😍
agreed
Bravo!!!!
Just an outstanding use of 6 minutes!
Ok, first pianist in years that has impressed me. Bravo. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
My junior high music teacher used to show us similar examples, picking apart 50's and 60's rock and transforming them into classical arrangements.
Hey Nahre - ❤ these. You are a genius! Would love to hear your classical interpretations of the James Bond Theme 👍
Brilliant. Just brilliant!
You clearly have studied the old composers' styles very closely.
Seriously impressed.
👍🏻😀🇬🇧
Rachmaninoff lives!
I love the way you encapsulate the essence of each composer! It's very educational, as you break down the elements of their style.
In another, societal sense, we can say you're taking the xxxxxxx that is Miley Cyrus and transforming it into something beautiful.
Without a doubt this is genius level 1! So thoughtful, imaginative and insightful. Love it ❤
you ma’am, are one of the most talented people i’ve seen. it’s your grace while playing, your intellect on your subject, and your overall poise that seem to sharpen your appeal to me. for real, your hard work shows and i hope you continue to play beautifully because you are definitely 1 in 1,000,000. anyways, i just really appreciate art and you just look so passionate i couldn’t help but commenting. take care!
too clever and beautiful! I am always in awe of your skill set. thankyou.
I mean, the level and quality are so high in this video that it gives the feeling that the Miley Cyrus song wasn't even necessary.
Thank you very much, Nahre. This video proves (again) that knowledge is power. I'm always amazed of the insight you own over the ways and keys that make every composer's sound their own.
Brillantissime Nahre 👍 Not a fan of Miley Cyrus and "Flowers" seems a well-known title. But the way you transform it on a classical music mode makes our day. By the way, thanks to give us the name of "Steve Reich" on your last Instagram live. What an atmosphere ! Listening to this during public transport is an out of the world experience. 😊
Absolutely fabulous....beautifully inspired piano playing.
Thank you for brightening my day. Flowers reminds me of the beginning of Autumn Leaves .Your arrangements were fantastic!
so interesting how you subtly weave in the song's melody into those different styles!
Love the Beethoven "drama" 😁❤️
Love the phrasing and knowledge in this video, thank you.
Luv the analysis and various styles Nahre produces w/ masterful skill!
It'd be a thrill if Nahre could cover Linkin Park's Lost.
LOL, the Rachmaninoff one sounds a bit like Scriabin's 4th sonata to me
Pure genius - spellbinding
Love your videos so much Nahre. I hope you keep making them forever
I would love to see this song, or really any song that interested you, in the style of Art Tatum. Quite a challenge to be sure. Perhaps you’ve already done this. I would love to see your take on this legendary pianist, one of my favorites.
I would happily send you flowers.
OMG! 🤯 This is just soOo cool 🔥
Ever take a look at George Winston? My son had a teacher that wasn’t interested in having him play MOON for one of his pieces. When he did, the music really affected the audience. I’m not knowledgeable enough to know what the issue was. It’s beautiful! There’s a section in there I used to plunk on my banjo, an Am little riff that sounded a thousand years old.
It's always nice to hear your Rachmaninov versions... I wish I could hear you play live someday (your music off course, but also Rachmaninov's)
You know and give so much knowledge of music, but the greatness of your piano playing is sometimes overlooked.
Pleasantly surprised to see this wasn’t an April fool’s video! Great arrangements!
2:02 you're telling me Beethoven DIDN'T write that?? Holy hell, that was a perfect style imitation
Love your creativity and incredible mastery of the piano! Here are some flowers for you: 💐
This is brilliant! You are so talented and original. I get how those classical styles of the song relate to the composer. What a clever video!
You are an excellent teacher. Thank you for this video.
Jazz piano teacher will kick you out for playing this song. He say "too commercial." He doesn't even let me play Mack the Knife!
Beautiful show. Thank you.
The reason why the song sounds like I Will Survive is because Flowers interpolates it. Along with a song by Bruno Mars.
You are so amazing! I'm glad I discovered your channel earlier this year :)
What a stunning video. As a classically trained musician myself, I am in awe of your talent and gifts for arrangement and communication 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
Wow. Amazing
This was delightful! Thanks 😊🙏
So well done, and so talented. Loved it.
Thank you so much for this. I can't wait to show this to my GCSE students. Very inspiring.
Wistful! I gave up on piano lessons at 8. Wow! You've provided such a sweet education tool to introduce people to classical music!❤
❤❤ loved your rework on that tune, great THX!
This video bought a smile to my face throughtout the video . Amazing video ,and obviously your talent and passion shines througout the video.
Thank you thank you!! you are a gem Nahre, not only are you talented but can make complex analysis entertaining and accessible. I've had lovely music and piano teachers that taught me a lot, but your content and format is on another level
Awesome! Love this idea and executed so well
That was Insane 👏!!! Great job Nahre 👍 (Loved the ref with Picard btw 🖖)
So many layers of coolness and depth. Awesome and I'm in awe! You're a genius and funny too!
Always such a delight to see you work.
You're always so spot on with Rachmaninoff. Your video analyzing his sound is one of my favorites; it is revealingly beautiful.
PS: I've always felt a similar attraction to Rachmaninoff's music with Kanye's. Clearly an abyss of virtuosity separates them, but it's like if a similar sentiment inhabits the genesis of both. It would be great to hear a cover of a song like "Ghost Town" digested by you.
(although it's understandable that his erratic public life makes it difficult to consider him as an option lol)
Beautiful translations! Love these insights!
High quality musical education. Perfect control of harmony and structure. I'd like having a teacher like you in my conservatory years. I couldn't develop my musicality then.
Rach also is my favorite overall ❤️ You could experiment also the other way: take some of Rachmaninoff's known pieces and melodic themes and reduce them to a simpler melody, that you can then reinterpret as other classical masters. It could be interesting to investigate the roots of his material. 🙏🏻🌞
الله ينور مبدعه انت شاطره جدا وشكرا جزيلا لمجهودك تحياتي نهر
nice arrangements !
Thank you for this! It‘s unbelievable to follow you on your journey of becoming an overwhelmingly complete pianist!
Wow. Well done
These are always so great...
Woah, how amazing is this so rich and creative
I never get sick of your covers, especially à la Chopin and Rachmaninoff!
This is delightful! 😂
Last one is my favorite too!
The best moment of the video is at 2.57
lol at the *sigh* for "I can analyze music" -- you can definitely buy yourself flowers for being such an astute analyst! :D
definitely checking out more Rachmaninoff after this >_>
I know it's a small detail, but I've never thought about using flags to illustrate where the composers were born and where they died. Really cool!
Love it 💕
Beethovan should have been on keyboards with Miley for that song. I love the way you cover his style more than all the other composers. He also has the right hair style to be in Miley's band. 😎🤓
Even better than the Happy birthday series!
Such an awesome video as always! God bless you Nahre
You are amazing! For sure you are cool enough to buy yourself flowers, however others should be buying you flowers in support of who you are. I love everything about your video and your insight into understanding what makes music of all styles tick. Thank you for sharing.
I loved this one Nahre!
Simply brilliant 🎉
Mozart and Rachmaninoff were my favorites, but what I enjoyed the most was the dance my eyes had to do to keep up with the piano subtitles 😂😂😂
This made me realize that there's a stylistic affinity between Beethoven and Scarlatti, despite the two having worked in different eras, that I never noticed before.
Loved every second of that video.
Wow! This was awesome 👌
You are amazing at what you do. Beautiful examples of arrangements. :)
Wonderful
