This is a terrific video, very informative, and thorough. We have traveled on all types of trains in Italy with great results. I agree that luggage storage can be an issue, so be prepared. Our only snafu was in Bologna when we realized too late that there were East and West train lines 🧐😮 but local people were very helpful with advice for us and then I basically threw myself on the mercy of the train official and he gave us more advice!!! All very friendly! And correct, they do not go everywhere. We have to rent a car to travel to my husband's family in Lenola (south of Rome). But it's all a great experience - planes, boats, trains, automobiles & bicycles 😁
Thanks so much! Yea - we heard that Bologna can be super confusing, but we went to so many train stations that I can't even remember our trip from Bologna to Florence. PS: Lenola looks amazing 🇮🇹
