Well done guys there’s a few around hey. I have noticed this January and February has already produced better quality crabs than the previous year and I believe this is due to all the rain we’ve had which would really spread lots of bait and other food around. Have you noticed that the cutting claw is almost always less full than the crushing claw ?
Oh yeah no two seasons are the same, always those slight variances. I’ve found mixed levels of fullness between the crushing and cutting claw. But always one will be more full and by a fair bit at times. 😪
Yeah right I’ve always found the crushing to have more meat in it until last week in which I was really surprised and then thought about what you said and thought he’s right 👍🏽 there are some nice crabbies moving around atm hey and I’ll be after them again come Friday, happy crabbing Josh and good luck man.
Gidday Josh, another enjoyable episode and im just kicking myself that i didnt have the guts to brave the rain even though im hanging out to have another go. Trying to set up a trip with my daughter in the next week or so. That bit at the end with your daughter was the best part and in another couple of years we might see a new member to the team. Cheers.
Great show 👍
Cheers mate 🤙
Some good crabs there Josh worth braving the wet mate well done 👍
Thanks mate. A hard start, but ended strong. Really pays to work the pots under those sorts of conditions. 😮💨
@@BrisVegasFishing did you end up finding them deep mate due to the fresh sitting on top
Nice work mate
Thanks mate. Can be tough at times aye 😅
Nothing like a good old mud crab ala mortein…
Really brings out the natural flavours 😂
Great crabs mate! You had to brave the elements with that rain, you guys were soaked 😂👌
Best part of summer was it wasn’t even cold aye 😅 could do it all day. The mozzies once the rain stopped were ruthless 😬
Some nice Mudzillas there mate. Good channel and content.
Thanks mate. Appreciate it 🙏🏻

Don’t get me wrong I’m still finding some soft stuff but not as much and for this time of the season that’s a really good thing imo.
