Sailing in the RAW

The first of the new-age Tony Grainger Designs and so well built by Hudson and Hakes. This tri' is a full Carbon infused build, there's carbon everywhere. RAW is a bit of a departure from the regular folding tri's in that the performance is way higher than what has generally possible in a folder.
RAW is a super sport trimaran, she's fast and very capable but can easily be sailed by just a couple of experienced crew. Lesser experienced sailors will be better off waiting until the Airplay Sport and Sport + hit the water in a few months time. These will be spec'd to suit more casual sailing and built in glass over Carbon to get the Sports onto the market at a very nice price.
RAW One. Carbon infusion construction, Maarstrom Carbon wing mast, Maarstrom boom, carbon floats, carbon beams... Down below is Zen in its treatment of Raw Carbon with white accents, full headroom, double vee-berth, twin quarter berths, cooker, sink, toilet... enough stuff to get you offshore...
Membrane sails, large code zero and top down furling kite all add v-room.
RAW One debuts in the Kings Cup and then she''l be joined by RAW Two at the Neptune Regatta in February 2014. The strong interest in the brand is being generated by sailors that enjoy the convenience of a folding trimaran but wanted more performance. Well that and the fact that this is the first time a Grainger Trimaran Design has been put into serious production. round that out with a builder re-known for building solid race ware and you have a great combination.
