Hey Tammy, first of all let me tell you that you can really tell you’re losing weight. I know you don’t know me but I’m glad you are taking control of your health. I also know that having a cooking channel while trying to eat healthy has to be a challenge. My husband and I have agreed for years that the best way to lose weight is to portion control not deprive yourself of any food group. Please know that I appreciate the healthy recipes you show us along with your cakes and other goodies. I like them all. First, this cake looks delicious 😋, and second, that is the most unique mixer I've ever seen. Can you do ice cream in that mixer?

Sounds delicious! Do consider laying baking parchment paper in pan first. Then slide entire cake out of pan in one fell swoop. Decorate it out of the pan, and cut pieces with wired cheese slicer or fishing line before serving. That way, all pieces will be invisibly cut and no piping will be disturbed, and piece removal will be magic! 🙂

When I worked in a bakery, I learned that cutting a cake is a cleaner cut if you dip your knife in hot water.

Used seedless red raspberry jam because that's all I had on hand tonight but my crew polished off the entire cake...well, minus two slices I saved back for our neighbors to try! I have never heard of peanut butter and jelly cake. It’s got to be good with that combination. It looks just like a cake from the bakery. I admire how talented and swift a Cook and Baker you are. I wonder how a fluffernutter cake would taste… you know the ones you used to eat growing up? It was peanut butter with marshmallow fluff on bread. Sounds like another good combination for a cake. 🍰

I made this cake semi homemade. French vanilla cake mix. An extra egg and added 1/2 peanutbutter. Sooo good. Ty!

Tammy try putting all your dry ingredients on a piece of parchment paper while you sifty them it makes a whole bunch of difference instead of using big bowls I found out the hard way try that trick and see how you like it and let me know tammy can you also make individual cakes the same way why I am asking is I do a lot of baking for a community meal at my church that's why I've been asking

You can't put the steel ones in the dishwasher although I don't put my knives in the dishwasher anyway 😊

I think the second jam is the color and consistency because of the SUGAR. The first did not have the added sugar.

Ms. Tammy if I used a mixer like yours, is it strong enough to make a pound cake. I've always used my Kitchen Aid and the flour goes every wear when I alternate. I even have a cover for it. So I thought I would try one like yours.🤗

Moist but not what I would describe as dense

They Bosch is much lighter but some things you need a stainless steel bowl for like meringue.

They are making healthier choices, but not cutting out everything or depriving themselves. Smaller portions. It works because both look terrific. I think that is the right way to eat.
