Sorry to be offtopic but does anybody know a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb lost my login password. I love any assistance you can offer me!
the audit part is kinda confusing for day-to-day operations. Many companies have a registered agent for where their company is located.. but they themselves do not live or go to that office. So I wonder how/if the audit is done remotely
@@GovKidMethod Hi Derek how are you doing? Hope all is well. I am just one step away from being successful but unfortunately It seems I cannot find a Mentor for me (Protege)
You are amazing thank you Derek I hope all the information and guidance you give out for free gets returned to you in value in some way God never fails bless up
Is there any government programs that can help a new business that just opened. With being able to bid for gov contracts or bids. Not sure if they have anything like that . Thanks.
You can technically have as many NAICS codes as you want. NAICS codes should be something that are somewhat fluid when you are starting out and finding your way. From 5 to a dozen or so NAICS codes is more than fine to have in your SAM.gov profile. When you bid on a contract you should make sure that code is in your profile. Every quarter you can perform maintenance and take out codes you're not using (bidding under), etc.
Have you seen people who still have a W-2 job outside their business, qualify for 8a? I’ve been told different things. For example, still being in the Army reserves.
Good question. It's been my experience that you have to be working the business full-time, and for 2 years even before applying, so you would not be able to have a W-2 side job.
Hey there, I recently got certified as a WOB, EDWOM, HUBZone, 8a, and I think another... The PTAC advisor said there are contracts available for my industry but I don't seem to find exactly what? Business is Mobile Notary and Loan Signing Company. Ty for any advice!
Question: In regards to the location business opportunity specialist, what if we are UK based but still want a business opportunity specialist assigned to us? Thank you :)
Hey man I am trying to get into govt contracting, my company is 4 years old but we didn't do any business for the first couple years because we were working on getting licenses for our industry. I don't have 2 years of tax returns my first tax return was just filed. Do you think that would be fine? or do they NEED 2 years of tax returns. Thank you!
They want to make sure you are financially stable so it will likely still be a requirement for the two years. They do workarounds sometimes, so you can contact your local sba if you really want to try. But I highly recommend that you have one year of govcon marketing and bidding under your belt before trying to apply to the program. It only lasts 9 years so you don’t want to waste the time trying to still figure things out.
Every business starting out with low or no sales is automatically a total small business. You can start out pursuing work set aside for small businesses. There are no other “programs” comparable to 8a.
I have a question about 8a . I have been doing construction for 21 years for myself. I just start a new company last month in the same line of work. It was made as a government contracting agency. Do you think it's possible to get my 8a with the two-year waver?
I don’t have extensive knowledge about the waiver but what I know is it’s all about your ability to prove that you will be successful in the program. I think having the 21 years of experience could potentially help a great deal but I can’t say for sure if it would be a slam dunk. Your local SBA can help you answer this if you want to dive deeper
Hi, Maureen. Thanks for the question. I don't have a newsletter but whoever enrolls at govkidmethod.com automatically gets added to my email list and that's the best way to stay in touch with what I'm working on. I send emails 1 to 2 times per week.
Haha, thanks Bruce. Was one of my first UA-cam videos I had done, so nerves giving me lazy brain. I also correct myself later in the video. Thanks for watching

When doing something like this what would be the description of your company? I mean would you be a contractor or a consulting company?
How do you get around the net worth requirement?

Can you get paid being on 8a program?
Great video. Just wanted to ask what you do as a small business?
Very useful information! 👍🏿
Can you have multiple mentor/ protege companies to one 8(a)?
I can’t find the fed biz opps website
What should you do if you are a brand independent courier and express company new that just started this year and want to work with the government?
I’m a veteran and a minority starting a trucking business am I allowed to designate for more than one program?

Someone from fed biz opp told me I needed to pay 1,200 in order to quailed for contracts.
Can a Non Profit Org President apply for 8a status?
It’s probably best to ask the SBA again since they run the 8a program
@@GovKidMethod No one in the Milwaukee office at the SBA is answering the phone. Any suggestions?
Also, if we don't (for the time being) qualify for the 8(a) Program, what program will be best as a starting point?
Every business starting out with low or no sales is automatically a total small business. You can start out pursuing work set aside for small businesses. There are no other “programs” comparable to 8a.
My SBA says I can't apply for WOSB because no one owns a non profit. Can I apply for 8a?
Must be a for profit business LLC, S Corp, C Corp, your non profit 501--C3 activities do not qualify.
I wanted more information concerning your personal experience with the $15 mil in contracts. You pretty much just read off the website.
Is there a database to find mentors in our sector?? Thanks!
So! To benefit from this specific program It’s a requirement to have at least two years of continuous business operations and tax reports!?
