I actually wonder if this guy isn't jumping from another plane like a skydiver then just flying himself down to land somewhere.

While I think it's cool and he should keep it up, it's definitely incredibly stupid to do that around an airport. One wrong move and he can bring down an entire plane full of passengers. Either be responsible or just don't do it at all. Cause it risks other people's lives.

I’d be willing to wager that this isn’t actually a person but it’s a drone in the shape of a human. Reason being if that jet pack fails when they’re that high up they’re screwed and they aren’t going high enough for a parachute to deploy. Most jet pack flights are low altitude and over water in case of failure .

4,500 hundred feet is plenty high enough for a parachute to deploy, plenty. A parachute will deploy at just a few hundred feet high.
