Few takeaways 1. Dartsrkhwan comes from Persian “ Dast ( palm) and tar ( wet ) khwan ( anything where something important is placed ) . It literally means sit after washing your hands while they are still wet. 2. In Persian and still in some Awadhi families and villages it’s called “ sufra “ till date . 3. Taj Mahal as a gift in Awadh is worst abuse 😅, once I asked my mother to have one in house and I ended up being beaten up as it’s a very bad omen . 😅
