Rada should give you a commission. Long ago in an earlier video you mentioned them. I bought several of their knives and recently purchased my sister a Kitchen set. She is thrilled. Her old knives sucked! Best of all they’re made in the USA! Another good instructional video. Thanks Dale.

Great information Dale! I have two Rada sharpeners, one for the kitchen and the other one for the fur shed. They are a great tool to have.👍

@@billingsleybrandtrappinglu1531 when I worked at shedas I watched ludy skin mink, take the same knife cut off a piece of ham, eat it, continue skinning. Didn't miss a beat. A chair, a stove, a ham, a pile of mink. To funny

When I trapped mink for MSU I use to nick a gland in order to stink-out the college kids from the fur shed with their crappy music so I could have peace listening to my bluegrass while skinning!! Nicking a mink gland would have the students heading for the door immediately! Old trappers know how to manage the fur shed!!!

I learned about those glands the hard way when I skinned my one and only weasel back in the 1960s. Never made that mistake on a mink (because of my experience with that weasel).

First mink i skint back in the early 70's dad told me to leave the toe nails on that they would bring more, the fur buyer laughed and said i didn't have to do that cause they didn't buy them like that no more

First mink I ever skinned for veirs fur co was bought whole n I tried it half frozen. Literally shot the musk on my lip when I tried to spread those frozen legs. When dale says it's got some power he ain't jokin. I got paid 50cents for skinning that mink then at 15yrs old

@billingsleybrandtrappinglu1531 once you taste it you'll never untaste it. Might be why I didn't try for mink for 17years lol. Caught 4th last day season I could smell n taste it at the car 110 doesn't put them down fast enough it seems

@AlphapredatorMO yip. I understand that. No a 110 don't do it quickly enough. 120 is a better choice

Wow, mink that size would put some house cats to shame. Looks like they'd fill up a stretcher board in a hurry.
