@@mirrorh0ck540 that decision is all about you. the reality is that if you like a racket more than the other, for most cases it is the better decision.
I just own one and for an intermediate player like me its kinda not so forgiving if you dont have a strong arm and wrist. Eventhough its not as stiff as ZF2 but u cant fully utilize its max potential with a so so arm power. And for doubles its kinda slow for defense, so if u play doubles more then better think twice before purchasing this.
i use 3u rackets and less head heavy rackets compared to 99 pro. i use 4u 99 pro as 3u would be another beast to use. i think for defence its decent, maybe becuase im used to heavier overall weighted rackets. the racket itself is close to the ZF1 i would say but overall much more easier to use as its faster, you would mostly likely be looking at this racket to advanced players maybe pushing the boundaries with high-intermediate players.
Could you do a comparison of the Yonex Astrox 99 Pro and the 88D pro? Also, what string and string tension would you suggest for the 99Pro if you want power and a medium control?
Nice video always ❤. I had a question nro please reply. Why flagship yonex rackets like I got my astrox 99 pro yesterday mention maximum string tension 28lbs, rather kento momota himself used 33lbs in it ,, wheras on lower end rackets like voltric 10dg it is written 35lbs maximum string tension,. Why so❓️❓️. And my main question is that can I use 34lbs in astrox 99 pro bcz being professional mujhe voltric 10dg m yhi use krne ki aadat thi😢. But astrox 99 pro is better and my mates also say it can break , but then kento momota also used it on 33lbs being advised 28lbs as max high tension i it n😅.. I trust you, being knowledgeable creator so please tell me , can I string my astrox 99 pro on 32lbs or not ❓️❓️❓️❓️🙏
@@dabhodiyaseema you can string your rackets to whatever you want. Yonex offer a warranty period of 12 months on their rackets against manufacturing defects. If you string your racket above the tension range you invalidate that warranty. Please note that the frame is not covered in cases of damage by the player such as racket clashes. In my opinion though no one needs to use a high tension like that. Some Pro players do just to retain ultimate control as they can hit the sweet spot of the racket all the time. For normal people extremely high tensions (above 28lbs) will only make the game harder to play and become expensive to maintain as you break more strings and rackets.
club racket, is it all astrox 99 pro , tour, game, play , have dual frame ( dual optimum system ) like duora ? backhand, forehand diffrent shape frame like duora ? i see description in yonex web
definitely more demanding than those 2 rackets. both of those rackets are easier to use than the 99 pro, closest comparable racket to it is the zf1 in my opinion
Could you pls compare astrox 99 pro vs duora z strike(ik it's old but still)....I would love to see the diff b/w stiff and extra stiff shafts respectively and also an word abt the frame size of the both rackets and stating out the difference....pls don't ignore this comment
For easier to use, duora zstrike is better, ax99 pro kinda not forgiving if you got so so power and will give u lots of misshits/bad shot cause of the 325 HH balnce point
@@halabooshinde9288 that only if you got a good technique. it does have quite a big sweet spot but when you misshit its so obvious. i suppose this is what people are saying about the mishits and not as forgiving.

Not really. Definitely not a beginner racquet but I've seen a significant increase in power as an aggressive singles player with it. It takes a bit of time to get used to but once you do, I could never go back to my 88D (which I've been using for years for my singles matches).
Loving your take on the 99 Pro and thanks for the shoutout too! 😊😊
Had a hard time deciding which color to choose so i bought both paint scheme, I actually bought 3racquets. Nice agressive raket
Good
I love astrox series, i had 77,88d pro, and absolutely this 99pro cherry sunburst 😁.
What did you like the most..of all three

Good idea.
Perhaps Aerobite?
Aerobite ftw. Dont use thick string especially if u got so so arm power. This racket is high risk high return type
Sir, a video on astrox 100 zz vs astrox 99 pro
Yes sir plzzz
Yes we all want it
WE WANT THIS VIDEO over YONEX ASTROX 100 ZZ VS YONEX ASTROX 99 PRO!
YEP we want 100zz vs 99 pro!
The cherry sunburst is my favorite color scheme
It is nice I think, the white tiger has been more popular though.

Is it good for intermediate level players?
I bought the Ax77 4u4, any good string choices? good durable string with nice soft sound
BG65?
For me durable string means low performance. Bg80 is good durability, good control just dont string too high tension if you dont have enough power.

No, they do not have a dual frame. Yonex are not the best at updating their sites.
Would you say this is as demanding as the ZF2?
No I dont think so. The 4U weight makes it easier.
Get 4U but it still kinda slow if u use it in doubles.
not demanding. the closest racket to the 99 pro would be the zf1. but even compared to that its easier to use.

88D pro is faster than 99pro thus more suitable for doubles. 99pro is more of single player racket
