- Glenn Medeiros’ humble childhood on Kauai did not prepare him for the international fame he would achieve after winning a Hawaii-based singing competition as a teen.
After years in the music industry, Medeiros grew disenchanted with the life of a pop sensation and turned his attention toward Hawaii’s education system, leading him to his current position as President of Saint Louis School in Honolulu.

Glenn is two years younger than me, but I remember hearing his songs back in the late 80's right after high school. After watching this video I am more impressed with Glenn the man, than Glenn the singer. What a great human being!

I was listening to his songs in my teen years. That said, from ‘Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love’ to our current lives, Glenn Medeiros and I share kind of parallel lives- we ended up becoming educators. We both got higher degrees. The slight difference is, Madeiros teaches in the place known to him since childhood, while I am a teacher in an adoptive country where I have lived more years than I did in my country of birth. To be a teacher (an educator) is one great feat and accomplishment in the life of an individual. Way to go Dr. Glenn Medeiros, you have chosen a life that even the most glamorous rock star would envy.

I asked someone just yesterday, who would be 3 people on their short list ,from music etc, they would want to shake their hand, sit down with and " break bread "over Conversation. I sincerely hope he lived his life to the fullest and had as much fun as possible in the late 80s/early 90s when he had his youthful good looks, and seemed energetic and awesome. I'm sure his present life fulfills him teaching and helping children, and it seems like he's a good-hearted nice man. Even if he's like a standard boring grownup now, at least he had a few years on top of the world, which most of us never get.

Nothings gonna change my love for you brings back memories of my teen years. I had such a a huge crush on Glenn. From the first time I saw the video debut on Nickelodeon's Don't just sit there. I was so into Glenn I just swooned. Glenn is Still a heartthrob.

Hello Glenn, I love your song since I heard it on Guiding LIght. I was in Kaui for 6 weeks after Hurricane iniki but didn't know you were from there at the time.
