The parry looks so good, you really feel the weight of it the way they get pushed back, but I feel like the combat is repetitive. I hope there are more combos other than just switching characters mid attack.
It seems character specific, the wolf guy can charge attack his combos and the fire sword girl has combos where you wait mid combo so she sheathes her sword than unleash. Still, I hope there's more to it.
Man they really nailed the overall aesthetics, environment, character designs, musics, even their mini arcade games. Also is this a hint for XBox release too? judging from the button layout hehe

The same attack animation loops and bosses with sponge-y health bars, cinematic attacks that cannot be originally weaved into combos. This game seems like a pass, but I look forward to the fan art of it

@@IndraD Their art direction are amazing but their games are hardly good HSR downgraded turn based mechanic which limits 3 actions per character, GI gets little to nothing improvement despite having so many same feedbacks, HI3rd grinding is just bad for free players because it took months for equipment that is not even that powerful while BiS locked behind gacha Many that dislike Mihoyo have the same reasons They just succeeded mainly because they invested so much in the mobile industry that it was full of inexperienced players paying for overpriced DLC and blinded by the game flaw

They have parry since Honkai Impact 3, which dated way before even PGR, just not for all characters. Also, this is switch parry, something WW does not have either.
Wuthering Waves combat system and animation seems better and it's actually an open world game which adds to its overall appeal. I'm amazed by the amount of improvement that they have done so far. I hope they keep improving it before its official launch.

It could be just the PC controller. Star Rail also supports it, but it's not on consoles yet.
